The plastic plate does matter. Needs to be on the bottom to prevent a vortex. A vortex will be noisy and put air into your system, which is bad. You may get lucky and not get a vortex but if you do you will want to drain the loop and put that plastic bit in. Any of the pump/res combos are good...

Temps in the high 80's with averages in the 60's seems normal for zen tbh. I have a 3700x through three different loops and two high end blocks and way overkill on rads. Those temps fall right in line. 6900 stays under 40 no matter what the cpu runs hotter than seems right. I am about to upgrade...

Right I have a 480 and a 360, it is an all AMD build. I got lucky and got a 6900xt at close to MSRP. I am one of those that got a shitty bundled gigabyte psu. CPU is a 3700. CPU hits low/mid 50's under load, gpu is much cooler in the 40's. I agree on the offfsets, it looked better in my head.

Can anyone point me to a video guide specifically about this? I am about to try my hand with satin acrylic and I understand that the tubing will discolor under heat. I have no problem bending acrylic but have never worked with a satin finish. Any advice appreciated.
