the fans on my msi 4080 trio seem to run most of the time while sitting at the desktop.
gpu temp: 34c
hot spot: 42c
memory: 36c
the board power draw is 52 watts with two monitors. was 25 watts with my 3070.
Just got a M27U and noticed the bottom half fades into a yellowish tint or is a bit darker. heres a pic, my phone seems to exaggerate it. https://imgur.com/a/lyLEf9w
I noticed this on my old dell TN panel, although the top half is more yellowish on that. With this new monitor, I tried DP...
I probably would have kept the c2 if it did 144hz, although the terrible text quality bothered me more. video cards do pump out high frames at 4k. my 3070 was able to do 120 fps at 4k in overwatch 2.
they are stretched: https://www.reddit.com/comments/17rp1xh/comment/k8m6im9
its also mentioned in the rtings review for the gigabyte m28u: "Added a note in Text Clarity to say that square images are slightly stretched horizontally, although it isn't a major concern. Also confirmed that 1440p...
I ended up returning the acer x32 fp and bought a gigabyte m27u for $389 from newegg yesterday, their monitor deals are really good right now. I'm curious if theres any new 28-30" monitors coming. More size choices for 4k would be nice. From what I read all 28" 4k ones are Innolux panels and...
I'm not sure how I feel about the acer x32 FP for gaming. Coming from 2560x1440, seems like games don't increase your fov with the 4k res, they just make everything bigger to fill the size. Its all really sharp though, but I feel like I have tunnel vision while playing now, I don't feel like I...
Just got an acer x32 FP, updated it to the latest firmware. I'm noticing depending how bright a website tab is effects the brightness of the whole screen. Like a website that has a white background makes the rest of the screen brighter, hardforum makes everything darker. It doesn't seem like...
How would people abuse RMA? If the card doesn't have physical damage it should have a warranty. Original owner only warranties are just an excuse.
Wait till cars have original owner warranties.
interesting. I am in the US. I got the card yesterday and my screen was randomly going black with certain parts staying white while playing warzone. seemed like artifacting. guess I'll be returning it. Its got alot of coil wine.
evga and msi warranty covers second hand gpus. if you don't have an invoice, msi will use the serial number which the warranty period begins when the item is shipped to the retailer if I remember right.
I just bought the card yesterday. What do you mean? the invoice says used so if I ever have to warranty the card that invoice is not going to work. I wonder if amazon tells powercolor the serial number of used cards so powercolor can void them.
I bought a used powercolor 7900 xtx on amazon for $736. I asked powercolor about a warranty and it has none since its used. I guess I could place an order for a new one and screenshot the invoice then cancel it so I'd have a warranty? I know its kinda wrong but its also kinda wrong to not...
It all came from fortnite. I want all that too. No skins. Its sounding like the next battlefield will come with a BR. I'm hoping they have all the skins and stuff in the BR, and leave the core battlefield game like it was back in the day. That would make everyone happy.
Its totally bizarre...
can you leave local dimming enabled all the time? the rtings review says theres no blooming, which I don't understand how thats possible with 500 zones.
rtings: "The black uniformity is incredible when using the local dimming feature. There isn't any blooming around bright objects, but...
Question about these monitors that get super bright. I use my TN monitor at 30/100 brightness. when I turn the brightness up its kinda too much for my eyes, maybe I'd get use to it. I just wonder if I get one of these mini led monitors would it be too bright? I like good blacks, vibrant...
I don't think they are trying, at all. its pretty much the same watch as the 4. theres no multi band gps like the garmin and apple watches have now. I did just get a refirb GW 5 with lte for $127 which is hard to beat for the price to replace my GW active 2.
only thing that makes me want to switch to iphone is the apple watches seem to be way nicer than whats available to android. especially for accuracy like gps and heart rate.
says Q1 or Q2. wonder how much it would cost. if it costs over $1500 I'd rather save my money and get a mini led for around $1k. I feel like this is the monitor alot of people want so I'm guessing it will cost at least $2k.
I've noticed with my pixel 7 the camera doesn't focus well using apps like my banking app to deposit checks or when I was trying to take photos of my drivers license in the web browser for ID verification for a trading website.
