I think they should hire a community manager, since they don't have the time to update the forums themselves (at least during this highly intensive final stage).
I don't think they ever said so? I think Europe was initially mentioned, but I suspected they'd go with Taiwan or China like...
I think you missed my point. Jay said that he couldn't use a psu with higher wattage (than 500), because there are no psu's having the same physical dimensions (SFX) but with higher wattage. This is incorrect, and hence I guess he simply doesn't know?
Not sure what Jay was on about with the PSU? There are at least two alternative SFX PSU's with 600W or higher rating, having the same physical dimensions (AFAIK).
I hope the S24 actually does fit, but just requires some "love" to brute force the hoses in place?
Agreed, tempered glass is a really stupid choice. It has one single advantage - scratch resistance - but everything else is worse. And no, I can't see how tempered glass would be "premium" in any way whatsoever.
But I won't be getting see-through side panels no matter the choice of material, so...
A graphics card with a blower style cooler will always be beneficial when it comes to heating other components (since it won't... well, maybe a little), but the fan noise level of such a cooler is definitely higher. To me, low noise is the most important, so I'd go with the FTW3.
The Fractal...
Which of those two would you subjectively say is more silent? I don't want extra wires nor flashy looks, but if the X52 is more silent I'd personally still go for that one.
As I've understood it, Computerbase is pretty huge in Germany, not sure if it's the largest but it is apparently very popular. Non-Enligsh though, but Germany is a large market.
Louqe are going to test taller feet soon, to see how much of a difference it makes to temperatures. If it does make a significant difference, I think they said they'll also include a set of taller feet for free.
Hmm... I've been thinking about getting a separate rig purely for gaming, but I haven't done it partially because of desktop space. Stacking two Ghosts with a joiner hat would solve that problem - having a workstation case in the bottom and a much more heat generating game case on top. :geek:
It's probably related to MOQ (minimum order quantity) - the manufacturers usually offer a better per-unit price if you order more than a specific amount. A lower MOQ would mean a higher per-unit price. It could also be a hard MOQ, i.e. the manufacturer won't even accept the order at all unless...
And here's the accompanying article (in Swedish - translate it at your own peril ;)):

Dastardly Daring Caper? Donkey Dingbat Casserole?
I guess it's custom water cooling related? If so, I think Pachalski said that they'll be collaborating with two of the best/most experienced custom water cooling builders in Sweden at the upcoming Dreamhack Winter 2017 to see what can...
The only problem I see with the SC2 iCX is that reviewers like TechPowerUp state that it's noisier than the competition. That's a big no-no for me. The same apparently goes for the MSI 1080 Ti Armor (OC); its heat dissipation area is a lot smaller (only half, I think) than the 2.5-slot MSI 1080...
Could work (if some alternative mounting mechanism is used). But I wonder if 90% coverage with a 120x15mm fan will have better cooling efficiency in practice than the default 92x25mm fan (or is it just 80x25?). I guess somebody will just have to test it. :)
I just ordered an NH-L12 (and a free NM-AM4 mounting kit directly from Noctua). Better safe than sorry. :p
Thermalright AXP-100H Muscle is available in Sweden (well, technically Denmark), albeit expensive and it'd probably take a week or so before you'd get it...
Exactly. Also, it was a bit annoying to pay extra for the no-ODD top panel back in the original crowdfunder. Should have been the other way around - the ODD peeps paying extra (but I know, ODD haters like me were in the minority back then, and most probably just didn't care). :p
IMO, the only advantage with glass is scratch resistance, but AFAIK polycarbonate can be treated for improved scratch resistance as well. In every other respect I can think of, polycarbonate is superior. I don't consider glass being "premium" in any way, it's just old tradition, superceded by...
Well, then you have an excuse to avoid them - "Sorry, I don't have an ODD anymore so I can't help you". That's actually the main reason I got rid of mine at work long ago, since a harebrained boss often asked me to burn him an OS disc since he'd lost his. Again and again. Nowadays he fixes it...
I had a Silverstone Temjin TJ08B-E with the inverted layout before (which was replaced by an M1), and while it was pretty nice it was also a bit impractical in the top, where the psu was placed on a shelf and was intended to pull air through a bad-looking (but filtered) dedicated vent in the top...
I was thinking the the side panel edge could be cut at such an angle that there would be no gap between the panels, but that would complicate the manufacturing process and the line wouldn't flow smoothly at all; there would be no bend, but a sharp edge.
That, and considering the added rigidity...
Can't say I understand what you mean by this, could you perhaps illustrate with a render? I think the current location of the break line, i.e. in the middle, looks off and strange. :)
I guess the recessed i/o module is to make it removable, allowing you to offer alternatives (such as one...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a heatsink having a reflective metallic surface could be pretty hard to measure using an IR camera because of IR reflections. There's a simple trick to avoid the reflection problem, by placing a piece of thin matte black tape where measurements are desired and...
Because the air flow is too restricted? Otherwise it sounds like it should perform worse, especially because of the lower total heat dissipation area. I'd wager it would be a better idea to use a fan with higher static pressure instead, such as the new Noctua 120mm with its more or less obvious...
