I just got mine in yesterday. After some reworking of the colors and turning the brightness down, I'm really pleased with it. Blacks are much deeper than my cheap Asus IPS monitor it is replacing. Colors are on par. Gaming is awesome and immersive with the curve. I took a risk getting it...
They make beautiful products with premium materials.
Over all, apps for their ecosystems tend to be beautiful and unique.
Resale value holds like no other piece of technology.
And... everybody in my circle of friends uses them and I want to be part of the club.
I just got the 15 rMBP and it's amazing. Like it's already been said, it's an incredibly powerful machine for it's size. I was playing Skyrim on it today at 1920x1200 with 8x aa/af with high res texture packs and the frame rate was solid. Really impressed and I would totally get it over the 13.
Totally agree. I switched to OS X when I graduated college and I moved away from my gaming buddies. When I was in college I wanted the best gaming rig I could buy. Now, I want to get stuff done that pertains to my job (writing). I don't need SLi and a glow in the dark motherboard.I want a...
I might be weird, but I actually kinda like the dots on low brightness. Makes gmail look like it's on textured paper or something.

I guess it's fresh for me because I didn't play MW1 and I caved for MW2 on the 360 but I didn't like using the controller, so I guess I don't come with the same baggage. Conversely, I've played Battlefield since the 1942 days and the basics of the game play are the same. In fact, from my time...
To me, the Modern Warfare series is like Unreal Tournament with modern weapons and locations. It's fast, quick, and action packed. I love that, but it has its place. I almost see Battlefield 3 in a different category. There is much more of a teamwork focus and it's a much more methodical...
Went from a Palm Pre Plus to a Droid Incredible on this current contract which ends in January. I got grandfathered into the "new every two" before VZ canceled it and I'm going to use that to upgrade to the iPhone 4s. It'll be my first iPhone.
Just finished the game, but I've already started my second play through. So much I missed based upon my choices, gotta love a game like that.
It really helped wash the disgusting taste of Dragon Age II from my mouth. What an outstanding game.
