I like it so far but I've only really been playing to try and get a feel for the game. I've restarted a few times and I've been trying to learn the systems.
I've been playing some Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova and it made me think it would be interesting if there were 4x aspects to outposts and star systems in Starfield. You could battle factions for control of systems and resources and actually build your own empire. Maybe a sim...
Just saw that Gambit77 has released their first few mods for Starfield. Gambit77 authored Armorsmith and Weaponsmith Extended which are huge mods for Fallout 4.
I have the same bug and my companion just kills the 2 guards at the front and everyone else is cool with it when they are dead. I think it must be from the Hope/Ranger quest.
With Obsidian and Bethseda under the same umbrella, like I've said before maybe we will get a Starfield New Vegas. With that being said I expect some serious mods for Starfield that expand all aspects of the game especially exploration. Again, like I've said before, exploration is really...
I was hoping I could find the Bethesda office on earth kind of like FO3. Also maybe finding a destroyed Todd Howard statue and bug worship cult that prays for his enternal destruction.
I'm doing a Expanse rewatch while I play and I wish there was a little more grit in the game. Not that there isn't any in the game but everything could be more raw in style, story and environment. Space is dirty and dangerous. Maybe that's what they tried with that annoying color tint but it...
At the begining of the game you end up at New Atlantis and there is a ship tech you can talk with at the landing pad. You'll find ship technicians are at most settlements and space ports. The tech gives you a few options: repair, upgrade/modify and buy/sell ships. When you steal a ship your...
So if your looking for a pretty good ship that easy to get do the quest
You can pick it from
at the Lodge.
There are few steps to ge there but it's worth it. You will also have to put a few points in ship tech to fly it.
Do we know if the planet biomes the flora and fauna on all the planets are procedurally generated or hand crafted? I'm assuming the planets with cities and quest areas have at least some hand crafted zones. I'm thinking/wondering about how easy it's going to be to expand the variety we see in...
More than other games I've been collecting graphic glitch photos during my play through. I'll eventually post them but for now it's a part of my play through. When I see something weird and stupid I try and take photo. I also have been taking regular wow that looks cool photos. I don't mind...
I will be asking you how that works when I actually start doing the outpost thing. Also thanks for the mod links you post. I'm constantly watch nexus for new good mods but there are so many it's tough to catch them all.
You can basically go hide and even though they take a while they will kill most threats right around you. Either that or they just run in front of you as you are trying to shoot someone.
I didn't realize you had to give them bullets!
Anyway, I can see how people might get bored depending on what you focus on in the game but fortunately I've found switching things up as I play keeps things enjoyable. I do some exploration, then a faction quest, then a side quest, then an...
Steam Guide
If anyone his having annoying microstutter I used the following guide to help smooth things out a bit. I'm not seeing any real jump in FPS but the game is much smoother.
I can see the survey and exploration part of the game being fleshed more by mods. Exploration can be repetitive in task and tedious and the variety is limited for the flora and fauna from what I've seen.
I've said it already, mods will fix and improve a lot in this game. We have to accept...
I'm at 65 hours and there is still so much more for me to do in the game. This game is packed. I don't see a need for mods to add more content any time soon but there is definitely a need for QoL and performance mods.
If you are on the one I think you are on the hud affect gets stronger as you get closer and also when you get closer it shows up on your scanner as a discoverable location.
After you finish that mission I would go off and explore different locations and do some side questing.
FYI, you can select a spot on a planet and land, if it allows(think no to ocean landing). You don't need to use the landpoint that show up. This mean you can land in different biomes on the planet and survey.
Also when it saying biome complete in your survey list that means that particular...
The exploration, while fun to me, leaves a lot to be desired. The caves are basically the same and I've already found a few special areas exactly the same. Also I can't find all the flora and fauna on planets but it says complete.
I've done a bit of both, I don't know how far I'm in the main quest but I was on a few and now it's funneled down to one. I got sidetracked in Akila and was just having fun. I don't know I feel like it not the destination but the journey so I'm in no rush to get through the main quest. If I...
I went down the rabbit hole of turning off SMT just recently. I was looking at maybe going to a 5800X3D or just staying with my 5900X. I'm sticking with the 5900X for now.
