I've had a lot of fun with Halo Infinite. I finished the campaign and have done a little multiplayer. I don't know if you're into racing, but I'd recommend checking out Forza Horizon 5. I'm also playing some of the Gears of War games, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Minecraft Dungeons. It's...
This is really cool news. I just hope they don't screw it up. I really enjoyed the first 3 or so games, but the next three got progressively worse, IMO.
I was finally able to get a Series X two weeks ago! I woke up and just decided to go on Target's website and do a search. To my surprise the closest store to me had 4 in stock, so I immediately purchased one. Right now I've mainly been playing Flight Simulator, but I have several games on my...
I haven't had any issues on my 2020 13" MBP, but I've only had it a couple weeks, and really haven't done a lot of stuff on it yet. I haven't setup Time Machine yet, but I'm hoping I don't run into any issues when I do.
Yes, you'll need to buy two copies. If you're buying physical discs, even though the game is completely installed to the hard drive, you need to have the disc in the system to play it. With digital downloads the game is tied to your system and gamertag. You're going to be playing under two...
Yeah, the NES has only ever included one controller. Fortunately, I think the official Nintendo NES controllers are $9.99, which isn't a bad price, IMO.
I figured the new run of NES Classics would still come with one controller, as opposed to the SNES's two included controllers, but I was hoping they would have listened to the complaints and increased the length of the controller cords this time around. Guess I'll be buying a couple extensions.
My most anticipated game would have to be Forza Horizon 4, simply because it's coming out soon, and looks even better than the third. However, other E3 games that I'm really anticipating (and some may not even be coming out next year) include:
Anthem
Control
Crackdown 3
Gears 5
Ghost of...
If I could only name one it'd be:
Skies of Arcadia. A sequel would be fantastic, but I'd take an HD remake at this point too. After that I have a few other suggestions:
Ghost Recon
Call me crazy, but I want to see a Ghost Recon like the ones they had in the early 2000's, where you didn't even...
I'll be curious to see if they really go back to the original Halo games, and do away with all the extra hud stuff that has been in the last several Halo games... like the visor outline over the screen and stuff. I eventually get use to it, and it ends up not being a huge deal, but when I...
I'll be curious to see what the resolution will be set to, if you change to the 60 FPS mode. I wouldn't be surprised if it was locked at 1080p, but maybe it'll be slightly higher (like 1400p), or perhaps they'll implement a dynamic resolution.
EDIT: Seeing how good this game looks, and that...
If you have a Twitter account follow Walmart, Target, GameStop, etc., because they would sometimes announce when they would have the NES Classic (and SNES Classic) available to order online. I also think at some point you'll just be able to find them on store shelves. I couldn't find an SNES...
According to 343 Industries it's a continuation after the events of Halo 5, but it sounds like they've listened to the fans who have been growing tired of switching between characters:
"The team also heard feedback loud and clear on the amount of time spent playing as the Master Chief in Halo...
Yeah... fortunately Horizon 4, the Sea of Thieves expansions, and a couple upcoming 3rd party titles, will keep me plenty busy until February, when things kick off with the release of Crackdown 3... assuming it doesn't get delayed again, of course. :) Oh, and I think the X Enhanced update for...
I forgot to mention Microsoft announced some really cool Game Pass news. Fallout 4 became available today, along with The Division, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available later this year, and Forza Horizon 4, Crackdown 3, Ashen...
Overall I thought Microsoft had a really good show. Some things we sort of knew, and other things came as a complete surprise. Microsoft announced 5 new developers being added to the Microsoft Game Studios fold, including Playground Games, which was rumored and makes complete sense. The...
Interesting. I figured with E3 being so close they wouldn't even bother announcing anything with the Master Chief Collection until then, so it'd be awesome if it released before June 12th.
Rare has announced three content updates, with the first one coming next month:
The Hungering Deep, coming in May, introduces a new AI threat, new gameplay mechanics "to assist players on this adventure," along with new rewards. They will also begin a weekly events program, which as the name...
Yesterday Microsoft announced 19 more original Xbox games are coming to the Xbox One, via backward compatibility. The best part is they are all releasing this month:
Original Xbox games arriving April 17
Blinx: The Time Sweeper
Breakdown
Conker: Live & Reloaded
The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind...
I've been playing it since the technical alpha, and followed the developer updates, so I knew exactly what the game was going to have to offer. Personally, the game is only so fun playing solo, but playing with a group of three friends is where it's the most fun. Rare definitely has to address...
Unfortunately the game doesn't run at a locked 60 FPS, while running at 4K resolution, but it looks like it runs at 60 a majority of the time. I don't have the game yet (only downloaded the demo), but I might have to pick it up now.
Some of these aren't necessarily long, but most of them are priced anywhere from $15 to $30 new. Plus most of them have had Xbox One X Enhanced/4K updates:
Bioshock: The Collection (3 games in 1)
Forza Horizon 3 (X Enhanced)
Gears of War 4 (X Enhanced)
Halo 5 (X Enhanced)
Halo: The Master Chief...
Had a blast over the weekend, playing with three other people. One night we successfully raided a skeleton fort (my first, their 3rd or 4th), while at the same time fought off another team of pirates, who were trying to capitalize on our efforts. We took them out, loaded up our ship, and got...
I played both the technical alpha, and the private and public betas, and really enjoyed it. I ended up on a couple of good random 4 man crews, that led to adding some new people to my friends list, and the plan is to play the final game together. Anyway, I have the game pre-ordered and I'm...
Yeah, for what it's worth I've plugged all my Xbox consoles, starting with the original, all the way to the Xbox One X, into various surge protectors. I never had any issues, minus getting the RRoD with the Xbox 360... Either way, at least you got yours working properly!
I remember over a month ago somebody at Microsoft tweeted a reminder to not plug your Xbox One X into a surge protector, and to just plug it into the wall, since it has built in surge protection. I remember it made the rounds on some of the tech/gaming sites, and of course sparked a lot of...
