    Need help configuring CX3-20 SAN

Sure enough, the offer is making it down that wire. Not real sure what the deal is there.

    Need help configuring CX3-20 SAN

Well, this is about enough to drive me nuts. I'm watching Wireshark and the device is making DHCP requests to which my DHCP server is responding with an offer. However the SAN never seems to accept it. It continues making request after request. DHCP works for all other devices on my network...

    Need help configuring CX3-20 SAN

I have a new to me CX3-20 SAN that I would like to configure and start playing around with. This was pulled from an old data center and is still configured as it was there. I know I need to get access to the SP's but I'm not even sure where to start. There is a Ethernet Port and what appears...

Racked the rest of the SAN and the other blade chassis. Still need to get an electrician over here. I keep going back to wanting to build a dedicated data center so I don't have to listen to all the gear. Kind of like what I used to have.

EMC SAN Setup: What am I missing?

I picked this up a few months ago and am now getting around setting it up. I believe the model is CX3-20 but I'll have to double check that. I need help with the connections. The drive chassis has copper fiber channel connections while the storage processors have fiber connections. How does...

Interesting high end/Extreme Gaming house build.

I'll agree with everyone else. Running a 3 million $ studio on hobby / do it yourself network and equipment is a horrible idea doomed for failure. If you have that kind of money to dump on a studio why would you even consider it?

    My home network rebuild

I can snag 3 more from one of our other offices but that's a 10 hour drive each way. They are great racks though. Put up a ceiling mount monitor.

KTA325B. I bought the mount and then made my own pole with floor flange and threaded steel pipe. Drilled a hole in the center of the flange so that the cables would run down through it.

Excuse the cables hanging everywhere. The Wife and kids are out of town so I have a bit of extra free time to play. Put a ceiling mounted monitor up, thought I would share.

I can vouch for Openfire. Works well both at the office and home. I also use SSL encrypted IRC.

I would move the sides of the case so that they but up against the front and back of the case. This would hide those edges and give you a cleaner front panel.

So, Guys about that Billion Point Month!

I have two servers (1 dual quad core xeons, 1 dual 6 core xeons) running full time. Does that count ;) Once I get 220 run to the rack I will put my 80 core blade chassis up. That should be fun.

I've seen this mentioned in a couple other threads. I assume 4P stands for 4 processors, correct?
