Perhaps you'd like to say why swimming should be considered a sport? Also, fencing, boxing, and wrestling being in question has absolutely nothing to do with my metrics.
No, they wouldn't.
So, we agree on the big picture?
Yeah, I need to make an amendment on my criteria for being a sport:
1. Prolonged physical activity where athletes must move around under their own power
2. Unchanged
3. An agreed upon objective scoring system
4. Unchanged
So to answer? your question? I would say maybe, maybe, no, maybe...
Add another to the "no" option.
To me, to be considered a sport, the activity must incorporate ALL of the following:
1. Physical Activity with running required
2. Active Competition (meaning playing both offense and defense)
3. An agreed upon scoring system
4. Agreed upon rules enforced...
Agreed. Also things may not look that bad from the sides like most (all?) of the comparison shots out there, but change the angle and there's a clear difference between even 64x and default tessellation limits.

PS4 is definitely running at a higher resolution and framerate compared to PS3. The lighting, however, is nonsensical. Way too bright and the colors are wrong. It should not look like it's noon in Majula where the sun is always setting (rising?).
That's a whole lot of nothing as the answers to those questions were pretty much known from the beginning.
The ONLY question that needs to be answered in no uncertain terms is will DX9 users be able to play with DX11?
It's bad enough that it looks like we'll have to pay full price for a...
Well I seem to have a different opinion than most here. My ranking would be:
PC>Xbox One>PS4
I was surprised that I liked the Xbox One better than the PS4, but there were a few shots where it seemed to have ever so slightly more detail. Still that might've been due to YouTube compression...
Thanks for the response, but she ultimately decided to go with a desktop and to take her note 3 phone and/or laptop with her on trips instead. In the interest of curiosity though, I'll try to answer your questions anyway.
She didn't have a budget per se. She wanted to spend as little as...
My sister has asked me to find her something that will be primarily a work computer (email and Office), but she'd also like something lightweight to take with her on trips, hence why she's considering a tablet. I've seen the surface pro 3, but that's awfully expensive at ~$800 plus hub/docking...
That May 2 date is only for the UK boxed retail version as they had issues with the packaging. All digital keys worldwide have already gone live, as well as those contained with boxed copies of regions not affected by the packaging issue .
In any case this Russian key will work, but a few...
Sure, if the movie was filmed in the more common 2.x:1 ratios then letterboxing is better in the sense that it won't cut off or stretch the image. Some people may not like having wasted screen space and opt to stretch (which I've never actually seen a TV that stretches vertically, only...
I've seen a few minor quips, but generally, no. I was more referring to the technical side of the game like graphics, performance, PC-centric features, etc. Which I believe is the purpose of Durante's article. I don't think he'll be spending much time talking about the gameplay as that's not...
So, it looks like Durante's technical analysis article is scheduled to be published tomorrow. Everything he's hinted at says he's happy with the game, but I think he set reasonable expectations unlike a great deal of others.
Had a longer post written up but I was logged out before I posted and lost it. Don't want to type it again so basically I'm content with the graphics and performance. I'm more disappointed I wasn't signed up for GMG's email service so I didn't get a voucher code despite having bought from them...
Probably the scenes where your character is in an area with the remains of a dragon, is crossing a rope bridge with drakes flying about, and just the overall darker atmosphere. None of which are that big of a deal.
The first is a slight hit to the atmosphere as after killing the reanimated...
Thanks, Tzzird. Pretty much how I think it should be done, in theory at least. Individual counters per enemy and maximum spawns based on enemy strength. Would be pretty lame to suicide ~10 times and then have a straight shot to the boss. How do you feel it works in practice though?
Also, I've...
Figure I'll ask this here even though I'm waiting for the PC version.
Can someone explain in detail the new respawn mechanic? Any information I've been able to find has been rather ambiguous.
Is it based on player deaths, enemy deaths, or a combination thereof?
Is it worldwide, per level...
Well done on the conversion. I agree the lack of a PC "authority" is both the system's greatest strength (much more freedom to do as we please) and its greatest weakness (lack of advertising).
I've said my piece elsewhere on From and their foray into PC gaming with Dark Souls and I go against what many think of the endeavor. I had said I wouldn't defend them if they made the same mistakes again with DS2 and while my post may seem as such, it's really just me thinking of probable...
Gah! Edited my post thinking that maybe I was wrong and the interview originally came from IGN, but I re-watched the IGN interview and nothing about PC was in it. I had copied it in case I wanted to put it back in, but of course I copied something else over it. So I'm going to rewrite...
Glad I'm not the only one. I've managed to last through maybe 5 minutes of a video before I go elsewhere. Most of the time that I watch him trying to understand his appeal I'm out before a minute. He's constantly yammering as if he's afraid of there being any silence and he's swearing...
If that ad was intended for NA the faker forgot that we spell it "Armor" and also could've saved some time by cropping out that part from the previous ads where the work was already done, spelled correctly, and localized correctly.
Also, I too hope we get a physical/collector's release as...
Yeah, I'm not so sure about the validity of that ad.
The ad is for the European version as evidenced by the word "Amour" (sic)
"Armour" is spelled incorrectly here despite being correctly spelled for the previous ads.
Europeans were already getting the better (imo) collector's edition with...
Careful! The 1712 is a 7.1 receiver while the 1713 is only 5.1. They are also roughly the same price after you factor in shipping for the 1712. Also, the 1712 has Audyssey MultEQ XT which isn't available again until the Denon AVR-2112CI. Though the 2113CI is the better deal since it's the same...
Used anotherguy's as he was the last to person to mention using the previous poster's referral.

Pretty sure GOG no longer stands for "Good Old Games" and hasn't for sometime now (I think since their "stunt"). As far as I know, GOG is just GOG, it's not an acronym.
As for the sale if I understand it correctly it will still go until July 5, but every game/bundle that has been or will be a...
Well that was a waste of time. Joe was too angry and confused to conduct a level-headed interview (in his defense he did say it was impromptu) and MN dodged every single question by questioning Joe's intelligence and paranoia.
