Gigabyte already released a bios with support for them even though they aren't out.
That's a plain jane B650 Aorus Elite AX (Rev. 1.0) sub $200 B650 board.
I just checked and my LE is coming tomorrow even though it said "2-4 weeks" at the time of purchase, and even though it was an hour after the orders opened. Looks like they were more successful with this launch compared to the first.
If you want the dual NIC version, you have to step up to the EQ12. I got one the other day for ~$170. They have fluctuating coupons and multiple sellers.
Mine just said it was preparing for shipment. It didn't say it was shipped yet.
Edit: I went onto Steam, and saw that I have a UPS label created. Maybe I'll have it this week!
If you buy a replacement APC battery, they will let you recycle the old one for free and send you a shipping label. It's not $10, but it's getting the old battery out of your house for free.
I got it through to checkout, but it said delivery would be delayed due to high order volume. If its anything like the last time, I didn't get my OG Steam Deck 512 until 4 months after release :(.
I just checked again and tried his link. Still nothing. Also tried on my phone. Nothing there either. Must be unlocking at different times for different accounts?
My experience using the deck with portable monitor and the official dock has been terrible. Half the time you have to disconnect the power to get it to recognize that an HDMI output is connected. What a joke. Glad to see it works for you without the dock.
I don't generally prefer downloads, but I haven't seen PC games in physical form other than nonsense video poker DVDs and maybe the Sims expansions at Walmart in years. There's a whole joke about how you bought a box just to get a steam code when you try to buy physical media.
When exactly was the last time you bought a AAA PC game that wasn't a download? Even "physical copies" nowadays are just boxed Steam codes. Not to mention even if you had multiple DVD/BD to install the game, you'd have a Day 1 25GB patch to download and install.
I think some company is making replacement motherboards for old Thinkpad form factors. I had an X220 and it was great. I also liked the older 4:3 screens in the X61 chassis.
I'm always looking for a deal, and I ended up with Visible+. $35 month for unlimited data and hotspot on Verizon with UW 5G support. First 50GB on non-UW 5G is priority data at the same level as post-paid Verizon. There are a lot of hotspot caveats, but you can work around them. My wife is...
Or could be that you just lost the silicon lottery with that particular CPU.
I'd pull it off again and look at your paste distribution. If it looks like it was pasted well, then your CPU is just a hot one. If there is room for paste improvement, then re-paste it.
I had a pixel 7 and a s23 side by side and the s23 was much smoother and had less lag than the pixel phone. Especially when scrolling between different screens in the UI.
When I had the Pixel 7 and the s23 side by side, the P7 was clearly less smooth than the s23.
I had a 6a and it was fine. It didn't stand out over my P5 though. The P7 was very disappointing. At least disappointing enough to skip the P8 for now.
So basically, the S23 I've had for the last 6 months is already better than the Pixel this year. I agree with Mad Maxx about the Pixel experience. But when the Pixel Experience is bogged down by terrible hardware, especially poor battery life and poor thermals, I've come to the conclusion that...
:banghead:...you should have listened to toast0 . The only way you're going to be able to really reduce noise to low levels is to move the compressor and fans out of the room you are trying to keep quiet. You don't wrap the unit in sound dampening material. Which is why he suggested a split...
Have you used one from the S23 family? Night and day difference. I was always in the camp of, "it works good enough" until I used the S23 and saw how an in display reader should work.
Everything I've seen says the non extreme version of the Z1 is garbage in terms of actual gaming performance compared to both Steam Deck and regular Z1 Extreme.
I wish there was an easier way to "pixelify" my S23. The S23 is the android phone I always wanted hardware wise...just without the true Pixel/stock experience.
