Afterburner will run no matter brand card you have. Make sure it's not running in the system tray.

I've been in queue for step up for 91 days so far, no 3080 available for me yet.

Just FYI, digital games don't transfer to a Nintendo account for the new owner, so they are basically worthless to any buyer.

I had an 850 ages ago that had 2 6+2 connectors on EACH cable (2 cables total for pcie). That's why I wondered if I kept it easy on the voltage, if an adapter would get it done for me, or if I'd have to go buy an 800w to square it away. This is all dependent on getting to step up to a 3080ftw...

Do you guys think I would have a problem using one of these on 1 of the 2 pcie cables from my psu (650w)to power a 3 plug evga ftw 3080? Not planning to oc or anything, probably undervolt if possible... Just don't want to have to replace my psu.

Bought an evga 2080 super... Will opt in to step up and upgrade to a 3080 for minimal cost when it's available. Best way to get on a list for a 3080 and have a pretty powerful card in the meantime.

Thank you, that worked amazingly well. Up and running with the 2tb as primary and the 1tb as storage. Man, that was an epic get. I never get in on deals like that, so I'm very very happy :) Now to install ALL THE GAMES.

Glad to hear it! :) I'm thinking about keeping my 1tb as well, and just taking out my 256 that came with the laptop. I haven't had much luck imaging windows from 1 drive to another, though. Not sure I want to do yet another windows reinstall.

Hey guys, I'm finally set up on my new laptop, and in order to monitor thermals on it, I've been using MSI afterburner and Riva Tuner Statistics Server to display the relevant stats in game. However, for some reason after the other night, just having afterburner installed causes my cpu to idle...

Mine has a status of "pre-shipped" but there's a tracking number and everything. Hoping it actually goes out today.

Just finished the last boss this afternoon... What a great experience.... 96% completion, not sure what I missed. I think I will wait for the switch version to be fixed and then take a shot at hard or new game plus.
