There are certainly some boutiques that still do full size cases still. Although many seem to go full CNC and thus gets very expensive.

Are i7 970s considered some of the worst hex core X58 silicons? I see everybody with X5650+ get lower voltage and high frequency. My 970 does 4.3 (187x23) at on 1.4v on R3F. Maybe I need to ditch this and pick up a X5675. Hoping for 4.5ghz
I'm not looking for break neck performance .All I needed was a full coverage 240 cooling solution that is similar to a u14s without the clearance issues. It literally just had to not leak and pump fail.
Enermax couldn't even deliver that. My raystorn neo TR4 is in the mail.
I bought and used a Liqtech 2 240 for a bout a month. Initially it was great but I noticed my idles temps were higher about a month in and the CPU was reaching throttling temps quite easily. Easiet decision to return ever.
Just going with air cooling now. Enermax is not worth the headache.
If you have Liq 1 return it . If you have 2 with the RGB log your temperatures and check for deviations weekly . If corrosion occurs it will be couple months from now, not right away .
If you don't want to deal with the risk go with the wraithripper or a silver arrow tr4
Actually Alphacool has something in the works: https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/prototype-watch-alphacool-eisblock-flatboy-tr4-pump-block-combo.8149/
Don't know if it ever come to fruition. But if they are going after 1U/2U markets, it probably won't cost them too much to release to...
That good to hear . Is there any way to identify via serial number or manufacturing date the bad batch? Is Enermax also planning to compensate users of those identified bad parts for damages to other system components?
Thank you for reaching out Kyle . Without your journalism we might have...
Yes I did overly exaggerate with my wording. I get that people whose AIOs are still working are not making posts talking about it . However, being a product for an enthusiast platform our sample sizes are small to begin with . From the threads that did get posted the failures are not rare...
I wonder if they responded to Kyle's inquiry. Maybe hardocp should retract the award and add more info to the review. Because there are literally people that bought a 100% failure rate product as a result of the review .
Anyone else here using a 1650 or 1680 v3 with this? My 1650v3 that runs x45 multiplier on gigabyte and EVGA x99 boards doesn't seem to overclock on this asrock board. I can set the multiplier to 45 but in the OS it never says it goes above 3.6 .
Am I missing something in the stocka bios?
If you can refund one of your coolers, you should:
When the loop gets clogged from rust, it also leaks, taking your system with it.
In the Gamer's Nexus video where they disassembled the unit, Steve...
Sounds like the copper CPU block and the aluminum radiator causes major rusting issues. Your new unit will likely experience the same issues over time. This seems like a manufacturing defect, see newegg reviews of this unit. It stops cooling after 3-6 months.
Linus Techtips just reviewed this monitor. It seems like it would be a good replacement for a multi-monitor setup, with the 4x 1080p quadrant display mode.
Does anyone have this monitor yet? Can you comment on the picture quality of this particular display compared to a typical econo IPS...
It was full on BSOD crashes, not just BF3 crashing. Another possibility is heat, in this silverstone case the video card ends up facing a stupid way
This is the airflow setup I got, maybe the video card ended up in the most airflow-awkward spot?
