What did you do to get boinc running on your fuels?
As to the questions about power draw used a measures current on a USB port and after they were charged my phones we're only pulling about a 1 - 1.5 watts while perking and crunching. This was with the brightness set to the lowest setting.
I understand where you are coming from, that's why I think even within the BOINC universe are focus should be on WCG plus I believe it fulfills the primary mission which was originally a focus on putting our machines to work for the benefit of mankind.

No it won't, litecoins have additional requirements beyond what it takes to mine bitcoins. It is designed to make it less likely that an ASIC miner will be implemented anytime soon for Litecoin mining.
I'm mining on my main workstation and really don't see much of a difference in rates during normal use. Watching a video full screen knocks it down about 7% or so on the GPU that is driving that monitor. I guess what I'm trying to say is I think the benefits are pretty small even if you can...
As long as this is limited to what is essentially a beta product I don't have an issue with it. But if Apple for instance started pulling this stunt with say the next iphone I would have a serious problem with it.

Absolutely incorrect. Companies like IBM, HP, several Indian firms make billions managing complex systems such as SABRE for companies. I don't know what AA's IT structure is so I can't speak to their specifics but its wrong to assume that big iron isn't out sourced like every other part of IT...
