When you pay $2k for a flagship plasma their streaming quality doesn't cut it. It's all relative and subjective. Crap to me, perfectly fine for my girlfriend.
I got sick of getting damaged blu-rays and having to wait weeks for new releases to be back in stock...I usually just ended up renting...
It seems sprint is desperate for customers. An example: friend of mine went with his GF to sprint and each picked up an Evo. His girlfriend dropped hers and shattered the screen the same day. They brought it in and Sprint gave them another brand new Evo. Crazy.
I've got the Sapphire 5850 xtreme you mentioned earlier. So far it has been a great card. It runs cool and I have not been able to hear it above other PC noise during Crysis 2.
I've got an Evo.
It took a little bit of time to get used to the large size but now I am convinced. It's fairly thin so it actually feels smaller in pocket than it truly is.
My girlfriend has an Epic which has a 4" screen; that phone seems much larger in hand and pocket than my 4.3" Evo...
Yeah that's very true. I just put together a mid-level AMD machine a few months ago and was going to upgrade to Sandy Bridge. Now with this Ivy Bridge announcement I'll stick with my current system until Ivy Bridge; unless Bulldozer does something amazing.
I guess what I'm trying to say is...
I guess I'll stick with AMD until Ivy Bridge comes out.....
The information really looks promising from all aspects. I wonder what this will do to the competition...
wow guys. so this is what pc gaming is all about and what all the fuss over console ports is all about.
im a bit green in the pc gaming community, will have to pick this up on pc and try some of these mods. previously i played it on xbox......sadface
This isn't the first time I've heard of Corsair doing something like this...Great Company. Let's just hope people don't get greedy and take advantage of them.
This kinda has me excited to get back into a laptop.
My last laptop ran super scorching hot, both the graphics and cpu locations would burn my skin.
It was a Dell M1530 with C2D @ 2.4ghz and a Nvidia 8600m
Battery life was poor as well. I swore off laptops until I could get decent performance...
I have the Samsung 470 128GB and I absolutely love it. It may not be the fastest drive out there, but of all the reviews I've seen it seems to be very well rounded.
I wish there was a card that combined the two...
Yeah, that processor was a relatively poor choice for what I will use this PC for (video editing and gaming along with a bunch of spreadsheets/web browsing) A friend of mine has the 965 and it is a good deal faster in CS5
If I could go back I'd...
Thanks again for the info guys. Good discussion on Galaxy as well :-)
I will most likely be going with a 6950 due to power consumption/performance ratio. Still might pull the trigger on the Galaxy 560-Ti tho...This is FUN!
Perhaps this is how women feel when they shop for clothes?
Thanks for the info! I definitely didn't take OCing into account...I saw that deal earlier today but wasn't sure about Galaxy; thanks for that tidbit as well.
Awesome! Good deals on both the 6950 and 560 Ti. Thanks for the links.
Will either of these cards be hampered by my modest...
I am sorta new to the whole PC enthusiast world and am trying to finish up my current build. The last main component I need is a video card. So far I've chosen components for this build based on countless hours of research and basically on my own. I've realized I made a mistake or two along the...
