what if i just nailgun a laptop to the fridge hmmmmmmmm
I'll bring this up to the wife tonight (knowing it will spoil). whatever avenue she wants, i'll post pics later
Hey peeps,
So the wifey has a hand written calendar on the fridge, and I want to surprise her with a digital calendar, one that syncs to gmail etc.. I see Skylight makes a great solution, but it has to be plugged in at all times. I hate dealing with cables, and especially a cable on the fridge...
Talos Principle was one of the best games I ever played. The sequel ($30) was just released and I really like it so far.
That being said, I hope it gets harder. I'm on the 4th section (25% of game) and the puzzles are easy. A few made me really think yes, but by and large I breeze thru...
Ips? I'm on a TN panel. Would OLED be an upgrade in text then?
This is my only monitor. Does gaming, word processing, Web browsing, etc. No movie watching though
hmmm so the wisdom of the [H] crowd says to say the hell with 4K and upgrade to a OLED monitor, but stick to 1440? At the 27" size of course.
I currently have a Dell 27i" S2719DGF (rting of 7.2). 1440, TN panel.
Quick google search for best gaming 27" 1440 OLED is ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM...
Thats the next question. FPS aside, how obvious is the increase in quality from 1440 to 4K at 27 inches? From 1080 to 1440, it was very noticeable. I run a 7900xtx, and i'm just fine with High settings, so hitting 4k@120 for most titles is quite doable.
I concur with the OP. I have a 27" 1440 monitor. I want to make the upgrade to 4K, but I don't want a physically larger monitor (32"). Its currently a TN panel, and I don't see the value in upgrading to an IPS when I have OLED right around the corner.
4K, OLED, 27", Amd/Nvidia VRR, 144mhz, shut...
Yep! That's exactly what I did at first. Only the splitter went into mobo, green line out. Everything was normal. The center channel was not getting a stereo signal. It was getting the various 5.1 modes just fine but that's not what I want
hmmm.. I just got that delivered. I put all 3 channels (green, black, orange) into the Line Out. Software wise, Windows is in 5.1 configuration. I went through all of the various 'effects' the control panel allows. Right now its like nothing changed.
What am i doing wrong?
edit:
I tried...
I've never watched them. They go way too slow and I can't remember what people say anyway. I usually always remember what I read though.
Tech spot and tech power up are my go tos for a reason
The 5 way seems easy enough and great for speakers. My gaming is on headphones, which dont use that port.
I see that Foobar is a winamp/VLC type player. I listen to all of my music out of Spotify. You said there was a plugin, but I dont see it on the Components page...
Oh thats not a bad idea. But how exactly would that work? On my mobo, I have for rear, one for line out aka front, and then one for center/sub. If I do a stereo splitter in say front, and connect the front and center/sub cable into that, what signal is the sub getting? And on that note, how can...
Hmmm....I just tested this myself. It doesn't quite work. I tested with Mono on and off, on all of the 'Effects' that my Logitech Z-5600 control panel has (stereo, stereo x2, Dolby PLII Movie, Dolby PLII Music, 6 Ch Direct). Center volume was set to highest. Physical cables are the orange...
A lot of people are obsessed with 5.1, 7.1, directional audio every which way, and I get that, that's what I use my headphones for. But my Logitech Z5500s are for music only. Here, I want the same sound coming out of all 5 speakers. Nothing positional, just a 'dumb' feed, that I am surrounded...
So my Thermaltake Core P3 build is going well, I am almost done. The last thing I want is to really hide the power cables coming from the bottom of my psu. Is there like a funnel shroud or something I can install over it? I googled it, but they were all for internal cases. I'll be installing the...
so reddit is saying that no way this review was unbiased, that igor has taken money etc.. in the past. Any truth in this? I am tempted to see how these perform as case fans to upgrade the Arctic P12s.
hmm, modmymods has them coming out in a few months and 10% cancel fee. I'll wait for reviews...
