Long story short, I am many things, one of them a Gamer with Skillz. Them Mad Skillz, know what I mean?
So people get pissed off(naturally). It seems that 'somebody' has taken a vested interest in annoying me by forcing themselves into my personal life through my PC.
I want to deal with this...
Wait....what? I thought the I9's trumped the AMD's? All the benchmarks i've seen always pointed at the Intels' for maximum performance. AMD would only come out ontop in a couple random ass games/tests that I didn't even care about anyways.
OMG I think I figured out the problem(and it wasn't Steam or PUBG).
Rogue modded drivers off of A *lame* forum(consisting of SCAM artists).
My fault. I hope.
An i9 idling at 25% Utilization and causing the fans to spin-up because of heat is definitely a cause for concern.
Well, there IS a choice in filesystems under Win 10(win XP->win10). Nobody mentioned fat32. Obviously, windows is not strictly tied to NTFS because fat32 exists, and can work. You can even have drives with different filesystems all under the same O/S(E.G mixing NTFS with fat32). Don't know if...
I have a recent MSI model, and it's got a dedicated Battery program(made by MSi), in which you can calibrate, set charging options, & set Power output mode.
I don't think other laptops will have more settings, than this one when it comes to battery options & settings. It's beefy.
Not really. I'm just saying that if people were a little bit more consciously aware of what's going on with their RIG, then they would probably be able to spot a lot of issues and fix them, maybe even before a complete drive failure or somethin'.
Personally, I've never really had any problem with Windows rot, on any version besides 10(haven't used 10 long enough yet to judge).
Doing simple things like:
1) Never installing anything you DON'T need to. If you install things temporarily, make sure they are completely uninstalled so any...
I just installed Logitech G-Hub. The mice i'm using work without G-HUB(windows basic drivers), but I installed it anyways just for peace of mind and sureness.
The processes altogether(6 of them) are sitting at about 700M.B of ram used. It seems like an awful lot, for something I just installed...
Guys, what do you think about this? I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever seen something like this, whilst running any windows update. TBH I'm thinking bout doing a rollback to win 7. I feel like there's not enough privacy control on windows 10.
Coffeelake + Win 7 =Dunnoooo LoL
I rebooted the Huwawei, then fiddled with some Asus settings(UPNP), rebooted the Asus, along with all my WIFI devices, and the issues seems to have stopped - for now. Got my fingers crossed!
Will update if the problem happens again.
thnx 4 the help !! man <3
I regularly get spammed with DDoS when I game(people don't like the MASTAH CHEF, & this is the reason I bought this router, was for PROTECTION). Is this what it is? DoS DDoS?? Do I have to do anything, does this even need fixed? Or do I leave it be? Somebody mentioned that I need to block...
Hello people of [H] :D <3
I have a rapture GT-AC5300 router, connected through a Huawaei b168s.
I recently updated the Asus router to the newest firmware. Besides updating, I haven't changed any settings and all of the sudden this started appearing in the logs:
Dec 15 04:23:35 kernel...
I'll keep it simple.
I love PvP games. The more skill required, the better. The more reaction speed, and key presses, the better.
The more glory, the better. The more butthurt, the better!
Looking for a moba, or MMO, or hybrid....anything with Glorious PvP & Good production...
Hello. Long story short, I bought a laptop with windows 10 home preinstalled(I did a reinstall of home edition). I am going to install windows 10 pro soon.
I know that, the home edition auto updates and U can't really do squat about that....
How screwed am I currently? And what should I...
I'm not being mean, I don't like it when people deter me from achieving *possible* maximum performance. I thank you for your contribution, though.
Actually I did have a drive fail once, but I think that was mostly a combination of A) cheap PSU, B) cheap HDD brand, C) Old, D) Dropped hard like 4...
My whole life, I've never had any drive fail, regardless of interface/standard. So, RAID chance of failure is practically nil. There are real world gains, you either never seen facts, or you are posing. NVME, is faster than standard SATA units, the end.
It's mostly a question about performance of(all things being equal), the latest SSD's that are available, latest firmware and performance, etc... I ask because I know sometimes any tiny little deal, can sway the overall benefit of one product over another, and I haven't been as informed on the...
I currently have 1 NVME card installed in my rig, it's the PM961. After comparing the numbers between it, and the 970 pro, I can only fathom running 2 970 pro's in RAID.
However this will be the first time I have a raid setup. Do you think there's anything better than what I proposed...
