Sure, I can and those of us who know how to do it, but an inexperienced user is less likely to know how.
Oh look more 4 player consolitis.
Funny fact: pretty much any servers still running today for l4d/2 are modded for 16-32+ players.
might be interesting to test performance differences for dx12 on win7 vs win10 in games like BF:V
It was no freak of nature, I ran several of the old 266/300/333's without heatsinks.

so... does 3dmark detect them as being capable of hardware T&L? :D
I would kill for one of those, would be fun to run it on 3DMark to test the impact of T&L
Had a wank recently?

No, those are 19.Q1.1 Radeon Pro, and if you install them then go to driver options to switch into gaming mode the latest you can select is 18.9.3.

Maybe they will name the 3000 version threadhammer and use the spare space on the am4 package for some hbm stacks.
Actually i have shown it to be an issue for ALL threadrippers if you read a few more posts in the 2990wx thread.
The hint and implication is that it would go into the same socket as my 1950x was in, and therefor I would still have quad channel memory.
If it clocks better I wouldnt mind a 16 core quad thread part to replace my 1950x
my bad, glossed over that.
See post #14.
fine them into oblivion, facebook is a disease these days :(
Found a trick
Set physical cores to higher priority than SMT threads in windows thread manager, get higher scores in some benchmarks.
At least the writing style seems to be fairly easy to tell it wasnt written by a human.
You forgot using 3 stacks instead of 4. Wouldnt be 4096bit but could be doable unless there is a hardware issue in vega against it.
I think if they could have pushed the HBM2 to ~1300 stock then the extra bandwidth of 4 stacks would have been offset.
Or 3 stacks (12gb) at 1200...
