If i leave normal performance on windows, i should leave speedshift right?
About Quick CPu, is it only effective with adaptive?
Right now i went back to
Turbo LLC --
c states disabled :
Cache/uncore downbin - It disabled,
50 all core / 47 uncore
I wanted to to get adaptive but couldn't make it satble for now.
Should I use downbin for cache?
Haven't seen CEC 2019 in my bios nbeither core parking
Well i read that max performance on window are improving FPS but the temps drops by 3c idle if i go to normal plan so I don't know.
I wanna stay at 5GHZ all core with good temps and max possible performance and FPS in games.
For me i run
Turbo LLC -- Tried to lower without success with 1.29 vcore, haven't pushed more
c states disabled : I have coil whine with it but I might tried to disable...
I'm always trying to tweak stuff and get better results and temps and so I have a few questions
High vcore / Low LLC or Low Vcore High LLC?
I'm running at 1.24 with turbo LLC but I was advised to rise the vcore to lower LLC. During my tests though, i have no overshoot with turbo. I try...
My Settings are
Sync All core : 50
turbo : on
Avx offset : 2
Vcore : 1.285
Min cpu cache ratio : auto
max cpu cache ratio : 44
Vccio : 1.15
System agent voltage : 1.15
Cpu cache current limit : 255.75
long duration package power unit : 4095
short duration package power unit : 4095
Room temp is around 23c to 26c
The delid was properly made for what I know, for the rest I just put an "X" of kryonaut when I installed it.
I have a Phanteks Enthoo luxe.
2x140 intake on the front
1x140 exhaust on the back
1x140 intake on the bottom.
And 3xNoctua NF-F12 on the AIO...
I just installed a delidded 8086k on a maximus Hero X and i was wondering how are my temps.
It's running 5ghz all core, avx offset 2, LLC6, 1.285vcore.
Just played Far Cry New Dawn and Assassin's creed odyssey for a while and got those temps and i was wondering if they are any good.
Nope can"t move the rad actually..
About the fans for the rad, i have Silent wings 3 but i was told it's not the best option, i was looking the noiseblocker eloop but.. can't find black one and white fan it's a no go :D
I have a little question concerning air flow
On my Eisbaer LT, i've added 3 fans on the top of the radiator for push pull, do you think it's usefull or not, I can decide. Since the rad is quite thin i'm not sure of it... and of course it makes the all thing louder.
The fans are all Silent...
My fans are on a rheobus so on idle i just leave them around 50%. When i'm gamind or doing something more heavy, I push them 100% so i guess there is a little issue somewhere maybe?
Ah ok well it was annoying I must say so I guess i'll keep my manual OC profile
Vcore goes from 1.248 to 1.264...
Well it's more a noise coming close to the CPU, only in adaptive mode. Sound like electric buzzing mixed with a sound of a working hard drive . Weird.
On another forum, some people told me my temps were too warm for a delid CPU claiming their8700k was around 25 idle and 50 max gaming or during...
I have a delid cpu, maximus hero X, Eisbaer LT 360 for cooling
First question is about the manual OC
i've tried to set up an oc profile but I have some questions about it
Tried at 48 all core
C state on
BCLK Aware Adaptative...
I've recently upgraded to a 8700K on a maximus hero X MB.
I have made it delid and here are the results
Before : 79 degrees
after : around 60
Gaming (on assassins creed origin):
Before ; 70
after : around 55
First, are those results good and in the medium for my CPU...
I had my CPU delided yesterday and i'd like to test it out
I'm on adaptive voltage and i know that you should not stress on that mode because of over volting.
Though, I read that the stress test with XTU does not over volt and is safe to use on adaptive.
i would like to have...
Ok i will try that
My tems are 33/37 idle
In game it can goes to 60 for brief period of time but mostly 55/60 max.
i did a stress test on xtu and here are the results and temps : https://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/422113442.png
I used kryonaut thermal paste and added 3 extra fan for push...
The rez part? Sorry I don't get it can you explain?
I don't really plan to overclock soon anyway and if I do I will buy the tool to delid my cpu.
I just want better performance that my 240 which are a bit chaotic for my taste and silence :)
I would have to for a high end air cooling but...
Are those your temps with the arctic one?
Those are my idle one
i get more heat than you is it because of my cpu get warmer than yours?
Yes my frequency varies, 800 idle most of the time and goes to 4.4.
Haven't checked yet AIDA or benchmark but i will. whic version should i download?
Yep already did it.
You think I should put it on intake?
I actually ordered a silent loop 360 thinking i will have better cooling performance with a bigger rad (and silence too). Do you think it's a waste and i will have the same results (i can still cancel the order.)
The fans are set on exhaust. Should i change that?
No delid yet but i'm thinking of purchasing https://www.caseking.de/en/der8auer-delid-die-mate-2-fsd8-019.html
use conductonaut inside and kryonaut outside
Haven't purchased it yet, i'm a bit afraid of doing it to be honest :)
I'm actually trying to cool my CPU a bit (bought an AIO too).
I'm looking into Bios settings, it's actually set in offset mode with a vcore of 1.17 (if i remember)
I was wondering about adaptive mode and which values I should try for the different settings.
I don't plan to OC right now...
i recently bought an Arctic Cooling Freezer 240 but i'm not very happy about it and i'm looking for a better one for my i7 4790k
I can fit a 360 in my case and was kinda tempted by the Silent Loop 360. Is that a good choice?
If you have any advices..
Thanks a lot
I have the same cooling system but i'm not really happy with performance.
35 degrees idle / around 55 to 60 in game i was expecting better results.
For the people who has it how did you set it up? Intake, exhaust?
Are my tubes too twisted ?
Maybe i need to do as it was shown before...
