Only the e5-1600 v1-v3 series Xeons are unlocked, AFAIK. Is there any particular reason you need the massive multi-threaded power of an 18 core Xeon? Unless there is, you'd be sacrificing a fair bit of single threaded performance compared to your 5820k, especially if it's already overclocked...
