Haven't played too much - but for the few hours I've sunk in so far - Very pleased with how well my 7900xt has handled this game. FSR off and ultra on everything, running about 60 in the city(I'm okay with that) and 90 -120 everywhere else. What a beautiful game.

You'll unlock things that you can't get with straight leveling/exploring. You'll be fine. It's a good story.

The inside of Hogwarts alone sets it apart from any other game that I can think. Every hanging picture has animation, statues movenat random, props to mess with, flying artifacts, hidden dungeons, etc... truly a beautiful game with a lot of detail.

Have noticed my hot spot on my 7900xt is about 25c higher at times than the rest of my GPU. Is this normal? So if I'm hitting 70c, the hotspot will be 95c easily - some times in the 100 range too. Wondering if you all recommend repaste/ adding new thermal pads

KF2 is still running strong - can pick it up for dirt cheap and find many hours of intense action to fill your hearts content.

Speaking of TOSLINK - today, my work gave me this perfectly good conditioned Marantz receiver for free ... No HDMi ports. But optical is definitely on it. Nice little updated receiver for my comp, saves a little space too and looks better.
