I installed the game on my laptop and I'm getting stuttering during cutscenes and gameplay. I'll test it on my desktop when I get home later tonight. Hopefully it's better there.

I enjoyed games like FO3/4 Skyrim etc and I'm enjoying Starfield. Sure it has issues but I think it's a good game and I'm having fun. Not sure what people were expecting but I feel like I got exactly what a dev like Bethesda is known for.

This game is finally performing well for me. 4K, Epic settings, Ray Tracing with DLSS 3 set to quality and it runs smooth. No stuttering.

That last Saint's Row game was terrible so this isn't too surprising.

I've been switching between first and third person so the first person FOV issue isn't bothering me much.

I played it for about an hour and it seems interesting. No performance issues for me so far (13900K/4090).

I don't think anyone is really surprised at the issues that Gamers Nexus outlined in their video. The majority of the [H] community has been watching LTT to some extent throughout the years and we've all seen how the technical quality of those videos has gone down while the entertainment value...

What I'm noticing about D4 is that after about level 70 there's really no point in playing. I'm planning to move away from this game until Season 1 starts then I'll check out a new class.

Game is still a stuttering mess for me.

I was into this game early on but just got bored. I haven't touched it in months.

I had an issue with a new build kicking me out of games to a black screen and it ended up being the power cable between the video card and the power supply. If everything else is checking out OK try replacing that cable/s.

I picked one up and it ended up having a defective left analog stick. I promptly returned it.

What level are you? Some people hit level 40 before finishing Act 1 :LOL:

Jedi Survivor is poorly optimized for PC and doesn't stress your video card. With Diablo 4 the best suggestion is to cap frames if you're using a monitor with a high refresh rate.

I just tried to get back in and got dumped into a 43 min queue. WTF happened? I was logging in and out with no issues yesterday and today.

The real issue IMO is that the game is feature incomplete. Even if it ran perfectly it's still a turd.

They probably had this apology ready before launch day. There's no way they didn't know how the public was going to react to the poor state of this game. It's comically bad.

Are we taking bets on whether this is going to be another stutter-fest to add to the list of poor PC ports?

I tried the new patch today and this game is still hitching and stuttering. I'll wait for the next update since I already have a backlog of games.

I tried the game after applying the patch and there's still shader compilation and traversal stutter. I see no improvement.

The 40fps mode on Xbox Series X was pretty good before. I'll check this new performance mode out and report back.

Just checked and I don't see the PC update yet. I'm in the US on the east coast.

So based on my experience this game is showing the classic Unreal Engine 4 shader compilation stutter when new assets are loaded. Besides that the game is poorly optimized. I have 2 systems (13900K/4090, 7950x3D/4090) and both are showing low CPU and GPU utilization when the game is set to 4K...

IMO the lighting changes made with the RT Overdrive patch ruin HDR in this game. The bloom effect is now way overdone to the point of distraction at times. To me this game looks better with normal RT. I suspect that devs need to build their game from the ground up with Path Tracing in mind to...
