No need whatsoever. C9 & CX already answered pretty much everything years back. Besides, taking PG32UQX seriously in late 2023 is just pure ironic, we all should be discussing other Mini-LEDs, C2 & C3.
It's either Mätte or Semi-Glare/Semi-Glossy like AW3423DW. It's very rare making OLED TV-turned monitor fully Glossy. Spectrum OLED ES07E2D is the only one with this gimmick.
8K from 40-48" is really bang on to use as monitor. The Dell 32" 8K IPS has been selling undeservedly well ever since it came out, 5000$ of 8K monopoly.
Aside from pläying video games, there aren't many use cases that demand 144+Hz. I couldn't find any channel in my region that broadcast 4K 144Hz let alone 240+Hz.
If you don't feel the need to use DP 1.4a and USB-C (rarely few gaming monitors have it), there's no point buying any gaming monitor these days. 42" LG or 43" Sammy pretty much nails it as a gaming monitor replacement. All that left comes down to whether you want FALD VA or W-OLED.
I haven't given up hope of getting a 1st hand Professional-graded CRT yet. There has to be at least one Monitor Manufacturer in the world be it Taiwanese or Chinese that are willing to sell CRTs in 2023.
Is it just standard DV or both DV & DV Gaming modes on the TCL?
IIRC the A95K which supported DV in Movies & TV shows couldn't play any Games using DV mode and probably still can't to this day.
All the pros of C9-CX-C1 combined into one within 32-40" format would answer pretty much everything a 4K OLED gamer wants. Anything before and after just not worth the extra.
How reliable are these Chinese ones compare to mainstream brands we usually buy?
I've seen Little Snowman reviewing them on YouTube, seem functioning okay if they were done good out of factory and you don't plan on upgrading Firmwares on them.

The G9 will use the Gen2's panel to its highest capabilities, sadly it doesn't come with Heatsink like the ASUS's version and has this inappropriate 1800R which shouldn't be used...
Shouldn't be any chance for manufacturer showing off the best Professional CRT that was ever made in the world with HDR and Adaptive-Sync/G-Sync Ultimate. We'll have to settle with FW900 for eternity, which's already the best from consumer market.
I tried Dark Mode, Hiding Taskbar, and other typical methods, turns out Burn-In preventions can't be used interchangeably for Screen Degradation. Dead Pixels still growing as time progresses on, it's just the nature of panel tech with its organic substances.
Many people always brought up Burn-In as #1 OLED's con not to buy without paying attention to the other lethal one, Dead Pixels/Screen Degradation. Mine has around 70-80 dead ones, still no sign of burn-in so far.
Oh yeah, means a lot coming from a chump who got wrecked multiple times across multiple sites boasting his stupid shitty 🌞 agenda nobodys willing to buy... 😂
Your last resort is boasting and ducking like always... Getting annihilated by OLED enthusiasts multiple times changed your stance on it forever. It's a pity you'll never be the same again nor learn how to cope when it comes to OLED.
Come join our discussion, kramnelis. We'll talk about the impact of Self-Emissive/Self-Lit technology on the entire display industry and what it means for LCD, LED, Mini-LED & the likes of such in the next 7-8 years. Need more of these experiments of yours also.
This man truly believes 🌞 is everything there is to determine a good display. I bet he didn't even bother consider other factors before spending foolishly on a monitor/television. If it's a 4000-nits TN panel with 1k$ price tag, he'll buy it in a heartbeat.
I see that you're still not comfort your overbright laggy 3000$+ piece of slow abomination got exposed by many reviewers and wrecked by the mighty WRGB C9, CX, C1, C2 & soon C3 in almost every aspects with 1/3 of its price... 😭
Monitor manufacturers need to utilize more 2304+ Zones panels for proper HDR Gaming. Consumers stuck with 1152 for two years now.
Might as well go for a 42" C2, the cheap plug-and-play basic option.
That only happens if you abuses it the way RTings did. Many AW3423DW-S95B owners have been using them as desktop monitor ever since released without hiding taskbar or turning on dark mode and those panels still function 100% like when they first turned them on.
The first time he/she said OLED is the true successor to CRT and that we've been viewing downgraded PQ for almost 2 decades, that person was brilliant.
