First, I found this at https://www.reddit.com/r/StremioAddons/comments/v6vwkf/installing_stremino_torrentio_real_debird/
The hardest part of this guide was authenticating with Amazon payments for the $17 cost of 180 days service of Real Debrid. The idea here is that you find your content by...
You're absolutely right but many people forget this had a feature to allow switching between a static overclock and PBO settings based on socket power draw and it was pretty nice. At the time no other boards allowed that on Zen2.
I have 128gb of ram on my 3950x system, should I run ECM P2 exclusively to help eat them up? I also have a 5800X3D with 32 GB of ram. Should I be looking for a specific workload during this time to best leverage my hardware?
I know most of us joined this site twenty years ago but I never expected such boomer takes here. I'm saving about half my work week using these tools. I used that time to start a side business.
I've never seen my water temp over 32C and I have a 1080ti, 3090, 3950x, and 5800x3D on the same loop. Typical system idle water temp is 23C and the room holds at 22C. Good luck managing those temps NES!
I'm going to sound like an ancient old man but I like the fact brotato has rounds. When I sit down for Vampire Survivors I know I'll be playing in 30 minutes blocks. Not that I can't pause, but I probably won't. Brotato gives you a bunch of natural breaks so I can get a round in on a work break...
I've got a pi4b 8gb watercooled and that's not even close. My Lattepanda 3 Delta isn't close and that's x86.
I'll take the bait. What are the better alternatives to a portable gaming desktop at this price with actual consumer support? Because it really sounds like you want a desktop replacement...
Grats! When you get them make sure to remove any stickers on the tire mounting surfaces. I had to get one tire re-mounted because a QR code sticker was literally on the bead surface and Costco didn't check.
I pre-ordered these SM-10s a couple years ago and installed them this past season for the first time. Went from stock 19s to 17s. I absolutely love the setup.
Sorry for being vague. In the Asus bios I set my memory speed to manual and FCLK to match the memory. My memory is Samsung B-Die so it takes 1.5v but you can really dial in timings. I haven't bothered with this since I'm not really getting great performance from it anyway.
I use 32GB of this B-Die stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Viper-Steel-4400MHz-Performance-Memory/dp/B07KXLFDL6
I'm not claiming these to be amazing timings but I've basically just plugged in some random numbers around the auto settings and run 1900/3800 with zero issues. I bought 64GB of these...
EXACTLY! I have over/under ultra wide 34" displays and it really sucks to use the top one. This is the solution I need. I could never recreate the beautiful oak work but I certainly can jankily cobble together some old used junk.
No one is talking about this desk. I love it! I currently have a solid core wood door on an Upliftdesk frame but none of the cool stuff going on under and definitely nothing like the keyboard surface on it's own lift. I'd love to know more.
For anyone who received the phone sanitizer: If you are a DIY sort and want to make a wireless charging project I found this hot glued inside the case.
Edit: it works ok on my s22 Ultra but my Pixel 4 XL will connect but not charge. And it is really picky and often won't even connect and just...
I have the Redmagic, can confirm. I modded mine. I cut too far and almost damaged it but everything is ok now that I glued it back on. Next task is to make the cable shorter.
Or if you prefer to be wrong.
DP-Alt mode over usb-c is required. Make sure the card has that.
Buy it from some place with a good return policy. I don't see a mention of DP-alt mode. Doesn't mean it won't work :)
The glasses I ordered didn't come with anything like that. The Siig adapter is what generates the DP-alt mode signal for the glasses from the video signal provided by whatever HDMI source.
It's the exact one I linked above. 2.0b or something. I just wanted a 10ft M to F cable.
HDMI is more...
Only one of them is an nvme. I have a couple usb enclosures I keep in my backpack as well. They are next to useless and I have the room in that thing so why not. I have so many of these damn things I'm more likely to find a use case at work or a friend's house or whatever than for any of my...
This is great! I love having options and I honestly had no clue I even wanted these types of things until recently so it's great to see others in the space.
I've used them on my desktop with my 3090. I use this cable out of the only HDMI port on the FTW3 Ultra and plug in that Siig adapter. It still needs USB power so I run a cable from the front of my UPS which is right near by. This results in another display in the Windows "Display Settings" menu...
Quality is the same as over USB-C. USB-C operation requires DP-alt mode and will not work without it. Most DIY PC motherboards don't have it. Many laptops do. Phones are a mixed bag. I use this to create the DP-alt mode signal from HDMI. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08WCNYCQT?psc=1

I bought one of these and love it. I keep it in my backpack. Doesn't solve full size drive storage though. That could be done with any drawer though.

Yep! I have the official dock which I think will turn into my living room dock. I don't need all these ports for my virtual machine. So this might just give me the opportunity to daily drive the thing as my personal desktop. Maybe.
Yep. It's made me glad that I've collected games on steam for the past 18 years. I'm playing stuff I thought I'd never have time for. I'm not holed up in my office. It might ruin my enthusiasm for desktop PC hardware.
Surprise use case for those USB-C docks! I run an unRaid home server. I have a virtual machine to which I normally pass through most of the host machine's motherboard IO. Instead I can free that up and only pass through the USB-C port and now I can have external monitors, keyboard, mouse, etc...
They are essentially a USB video card as well as networking and audio. You install DisplayLink software and you get a bunch of monitors over USB-C. I like to use these sorts of things for my Chuwi Windows tablet. Dell stopped putting a decent range of ports on the laptops a long time ago so I...
I got a $50 and a $20. If the dock works I might actually be happy. Every thing else is garbage and I don't really need a dock. Oh well!
