FS: Zotac GeForce GTX 980 AMP! Edition

Up for sale is my Zotac GeForce GTX 980 AMP! Edition GPU. Never used to mine and I only play some lite games a couple times a week. I've upgraded to a RTX 2070 and no longer need this card. It's in immaculate shape. Still an excellent card to use for AAA titles at 1080p or even 1440p. I have...

    LG B8 55" 4K OLED - $1049 shipped

Same exact OLED panel. It differs with a less fancy stand, lesser quality speakers and a slightly less powerful video processing solution. The B8 line is absolutely the best bang for the buck OLED right now.

    FS: Acer Predator X34 - 3440 x 1440 IPS Ultrawide, G-Sync + 100hz Gaming Monitor

Hey guys! Up for sale is this Acer Predator X34 monitor. It's curved, 100hz ultrawide with g-sync. I'm selling to fund a new 4K monitor. I want to try 4K out to see if I like it better. The monitor is in excellent condition with no dead pixels. The panel is IPS which is objectively better than...

    Intel Optane Memory Question

They call it RAID in BiOS, but it's setup as a caching drive like any RST setup.

    Intel Optane Memory Question

According to PCPer not even a 960/970 Evo NVMe is remotely close to the latency that Optane gives. If anyone can answer my actual question and not give advice on what else to buy that would be great.

    Intel Optane Memory Question

I have an Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard. The M.2 port supports 4 PCIe lane NVMe drives. I was looking to add a 16GB Optane memory module to my Samsung 840 EVO SSD to gain the lower latency Optane offers. The issue is that when I try and install the Optane memory driver I get an error stating that...

What's up guys. Up for sale is a Zotac GTX 750 Ti video card. This card was lightly used for a few months and then taken out of the PC and has been in storage ever since. I'm doing a bit of house cleaning and decided it's time to put this card up for sale. SOLD I have Heatware and ebay...

Concrete That Melts Ice Could Improve Roadway Safety

It would just have to be a top coat, not the whole thickness of the slab.

DOOM Multiplayer Closed Alpha Gameplay Video

Is it me or is none of the gameplay footage from PC? Judging by the movement of the crosshairs it all looks like it's being controlled by a gamepad. I just got a chuckle out of this when it said footage was from PC, PS4 , and Xbox One.

    AMD Nano running 4K 60HZ HDMI 2.0

We should be happy that AMD dropped the ball and is now (months later) fixing an issue they should have never made in the first place? It's no wonder their market share is dropping like a rock and shows no signs of recovery...

    Mix different vendors for SLI?

If they're reference design it will work best. I have two 980s in SLI. One is Asus and the other is Gigabyte. No issues whatsoever.

Air Pollution In China Kills 4,000 People A Day

Right.. and let it be controlled at the state level where in certain states that would mean literally no regulation whatsoever on air pollution (and other forms of pollution). Dude, the EPA's budget is 8 billion dollars. That's a drop in the bucket when you consider our $3.8 trillion overall...

How to delete refresh rate or resolution from Windows/CCC?

I'm pretty sure this is an EDID issue where the manufacturer puts this down as the "default" resolution so when it first connects it will normally default to these settings.

To be fair nVidia does similar things. Typically the reviews go up only a day or two prior to launch.

Can Your Self-Driving Car Chose Between Killing You Or Pedestrians?

Why should I be the one to die due to the way the computer was programmed to get me in the situation where it needed to choose between me or the other person? In real life people instinctively protect themselves. Sorry, but I'm not going to die because of the way the computer was programmed.

RadioShack Name Going on the Block Monday

Why? So you can give them your business once every two or three years? If you think this is ebough for them to remain a healthy company then you need to think again. Unfortunately this is how most people have treated Radio Shack. It's been that place you ho to when you absolutely need something...

Grand Theft Auto V uses over 14 GB of VRAM when maxed out.

There's nothing wrong about playing on a 65" 4K TV, it's just how he said it, like it was somehow better than a PC monitor. The TV most likely has a VA panel which means motion will look terrible by comparison to other LCD variants and because it's a TV the input lag is probably pretty high...
