As if the paywall itself wasn't bad enough for the consumer...
'Totaltech did more to help than anything else,' wrote one scalper, who bought the GPUs after Best Buy decided to place the products behind an expensive membership paywall.
Pretty sure Nvidea doesn't care if you can get a card or not. They are selling everything they have in stock at a killing.
You can't get one? Oh well. Sub to Geforce now.
It's a win-win for them.
I didn't think it was a war either, but it does clearly show how no matter the lines that get drawn around people, we're all the same and deal with the same issues.....we all want our video cards, and at a reasonable price!
Sorry to hear that...I'll pray for you. ;) I don't want to follow your post too far down the rabbit hole (after all, we are off topic), but as a follower of Christ who has experienced the super-natural I figured I'd give my 2 cents on your post.
I still don't see the link between Christians and...

The fact that the only way to have a local account is to buy PRO will probably be the deal breaker for me. I'll be using 10 as long as it continues working.....then eventually make the move...
"An effort to protect Americans' browsing and search histories from warrantless government surveillance failed by a single vote in the Senate on Wednesday.
The vote was over a section of federal surveillance law that was originally part of the USA Patriot Act in 2001. That provision, known as...
This Windows 10 update fail is the most serious yet – here’s what you need to do
Windows 10 is suffering yet more problems thanks to a faulty update – and this one could be its most serious one yet, with users reporting Blue Screen of Death errors and deleted files after installing Windows 10...
Yes, originally it was an offer thread...with the idea that once you took something you were encouraged to participate in offering items; there was no "hey I'm looking for item "X".
However, more recently it has been going both ways without argument. Personally I don't mind....it MIGHT clean...
PC mover is for transferring your files, programs, and most settings to a new rig. If theres no new PC, dont bother with it.
If you have a system image, most (if not all) of the imaging programs allow you to mount the image like an external drive, and you can copy your files out of it once you...
Again, I reccomend a clean install, not the upgrade option.
The only transfer program I've ever tried was Laplink PC mover ultimate...and I only tried it once. It worked fine for all the files, and 90% of the programs. Many programs worked fine; the program, registry entries, activation, etc...
Your best scenario is make sure windows 10 activated, then do a full system image (if you have to roll back to 7 to do this, do it) if you don't have a recent backup.
Use the latest windows 10 media creation tool to make an install usb drive, format the drive and do a clean install.
It takes a...
FB live works. A quick and dirty setup can be done straight from a phone on a tripod, but a bit better setup would be a digital camcorder feeding the video to a computer, with the mic jack fed from the soundboard.
The camcorder/mic into a computer would also work for youtube .....a free...

The latest media creation tool works. Make the media, and install....skip putting in a key and it asks what version you want to install (and if you don't want an account tied to a microsoft account, unplug it from the internet during install). I did it a week ago.
Can we finally kill the urban legend that Macs are safer than Windows PC's? I wish I had a dollar for how many times I've heard "Apple doesn't get virus' and stuff".
"Mac threats increased exponentially against Windows PCs. The volume of Mac threats increased year-over-year by more than 400...
Whelp.....another item broke (no big surprise), but here's the interesting tidbit: Windows 10 search for local files wasn't working when they suffered a server-side problem.
MS: "We are aware of a temporary server-side issue causing Windows search to show a blank box."
"In an open letter to...
"Check Point security researchers discovered a way to escalate the attack from the control of a single bulb to take over the entire network. "
