The media creation isos are also usually patched to the latest service pack upgrades. A retail disc is going to be back at least what, six OS upgrades by now?
And down here, UPS is awesome, but FEDEX is total garbage that loves to keep my packages for up to a month before delivering them. It's all a massive crapshoot.
I've been selling things online for almost 20 years and I picked up some habits from that as well. Flat rate was a godsend for me for...
Ehhhhhhhhhhhh... not... anymore. USPS added some bullshit extra costs related to distance in the past couple of years. A 4 oz envelope (1st Class Parcel) sent to my own zip code in SoCal costs $3.59. That same envelope costs $3.97 to ship to Tennessee, or $4.13 to New York, Hawaii or Alaska. It...
I have a sealed Mediasonic HP1-SU3 card (UPC 629329000494) you can have for the cost of shipping, but it's 12 years old so it's super early USB3.0 and might be wonky (the reviews suggest that anyway.) I can ship it out first class in an envelope since it's still boxed. I planned to install that...
Anyone want some Game Informer magazines?
They're quite heavy, rather old, and just taking up space. I figure someone might want them... you don't even need to send me money! Just send me a prepaid shipping label for a Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box, and I'll wrap them in bubble wrap...
I probably posted this months ago but I forgot, I have a sealed package of Scotch 1S2D 5.25" Floppy diskettes with a free storage case that I'd be happy to send to anyone if they provide a prepaid shipping label for the box. It's this type: https://www.ebay.com/itm/304382109467 (mine only has 10...
Does anyone have any spare Zip disks? I need a 250 MB and a 750 MB if possible, to test a couple of drives that I ended up with. I looked on ebay but everyone wants 10 dollars to ship a single disk and uh, that's too much for a single item.
(Unless the 250 would be enough to test a 250 and a...
Yep, this should be mostly complete, except for the odd CD I missed in my storage boxes. I don't mind getting duplicates, any extras will be used to replace damaged items (scratches, scuffs, etc), traded, or resold in lots to cover more purchases.
That's the plan, whenever possible. Some stuff is already out there in the form of isos, but they rarely have contents listed. Having a full listing of the contents would be very helpful for people looking for specific patches, interviews, or videos. I'm involved with a few game preservation and...
I'm currently trying to build a collection of magazine cover disks and other PC demo discs for preservation and documentation purposes. My goal is to document these CDs and post a table of contents online, to help with game research efforts. I've already gotten a bunch from ebay and local...
I have a sealed box of Scotch 5.25" floppies in a protective case. Pay the postage from 92232 and they're yours :)
Edit: I'm always on the lookout for magazine coverdiscs (stuff from pc gamer etc) or preview / demo discs for games if you have a bunch you want to get rid of in exchange for this...
If you're going to send those drives in a flat rate envelope, put them in a sturdy box with extra padding before doing so.
Those envelopes are good, but they get tossed around a lot. They get treated like a box because of their dimensions so they're not safe to send stuff in on their own.
No need. I spoke to the person who is getting all of these and he agreed to let me send you one. :) Send me a PM with your zip code and I'll hook you up!
Anyone want a set of six very old DTC 2278 cards? I bought these ages ago to resell, sold a couple, put the rest in storage. I don't need them and might just toss them, but if anyone wants these for some retro builds, then you can have 'em for the cost of shipping. I have two complete with all...
This is kind of an odd thing to offer, so... I was cleaning my house and I stumbled upon these two iOmega Clik PCMCIA card readers. They come with a carrying case and software, but they are completely untested (since I don't have any computer with a PCMCIA slot.)
Since I can't test these, I...
Free, just pay postage:
DuelAdapter PCMCIA to Express Card adapter NIB
Antec DataChute PCMCIA adapter for old computers using PCI slots, open box, seemingly unused
Adaptec SCSI Card 29160 NIB, but slightly damaged box
All items have been claimed. Sorry!
I was selling these on eBay but no one...
So I'm confused. The code cannot be registered online, I get "this code is invalid" errors. But support told me that it's a valid code. It just can't be registered online, I have to install the program before I can actually add it to my account. That's weird.
Welp, whatever. I got my answer...
The thing is, I'm not 100% certain this is legit. The sticker hologram on the bottom matches other legit software I own, but I'm still not sure enough that it's legit, and the box is beat up, like someone tried to open it. I would rather be 100% sure that it's legitimate, and not risk screwing...
Thanks for the replies!
It's a Creative Suite 6 Master Collection that I picked up ages ago. The box is beat up to heck, but it still seems to be sealed. I tried looking for listings on eBay and it doesn't seem to pop up that often (looks like there's a lot of bootleg copies floating out there)...
I've been clearing out my home and I recently found that I had an old, apparently sealed copy of an Adobe product in storage. I tried looking it up on eBay, but the UPC doesn't return any hits, however searching for it on Google does bring up listings. I want to sell it, but I think it would be...
Adobe is fine with people selling software they own, as long as there's paperwork behind it (a license transfer document both the buyer and seller have to sign), I just wanted to make sure it was okay here too. Thank you. :)
Sorry, but are Adobe license transfers allowed?
I have a high value Adobe product in my account that I want to transfer - and I want to make sure this is above board here.
The box is a bit beat up, and it has a tear on the back, but the box seals are still intact.
I'd like $66 shipped PayPal (normal payment), and the item will be shipped USPS First Class. Please PM me if interested. Thanks!
There's a third rate, sort of: Priority Mail Cubic. If your package is small enough, Pirate Ship will give you an additional discount because Priority packages below a certain size cost less to ship. This is not available via USPS retail, Click N Ship, or PayPal.
I used Priority Mail Flat Rate...
I was going through my storage when I found an older WD6401AALS hard drive I was using years ago. I popped it in a SATA dock and Windows 10 wouldn't recognize it, disk management said the drive was "dynamic invalid", and it won't let me access it. Most of the software that said it could recover...

Anyone have one of these around? I wanted to buy one from them directly but the shipping and tax makes it a bit expensive. I figured I'd see if someone has a spare here before buying it from them. Lemme know. Thanks!
