Yea it does look stretched when recording from a monitor, but in the VR headset, it looks perfectly fine without the stretched look.
In F1, I like both VR and monitor. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to hook up the VR peripherals that I just stick to monitor.
Other games like American Truck...
The 15th post on this thread is where I recorded in VR. It's not the best looking game in VR, but adding supersampling 1.5 does the trick for decent visuals.
Imo, racing in VR doesn't make me sick because you're always moving forward. It's FPS games that make me sick in VR by moving in every...
I'm currently playing F1 22 in VR on CV1. I did have issues until the latest nvidia drivers which fixed the freezing I had with the game.
All my other VR racing games work great with no problems.
Thew newest drivers from Nvidia fixed the VR problem for me. I'm running Super Sampling 1.5 on oculus debug and it runs silky smooth now.
Overall, the driving physics has been updated since last year and for the better. You better watch out going on rumble strips this year, far less forgiving...
Been playing it for a couple weeks and VR is pretty much unplayable for me on CV1 with low fps and choppyness. I'm sticking to ultrawide until it's been dealt with.
Overall some improvements but needs alot of patching up to fix alot of issues.

The day that I had in the low 80's, there was a heat wave going around in North America. Typically on a normal day with average weather, it would probably hit 75-76 degrees without undervolting.
Now that I undervolted, and it doesn't hit that anymore. There's nothing wrong with the card. I...
I just bought the card a couple days before commenting about the 3080 and my opinion about it, so yea I should have done some research about undervolting before posting.
Undervolted, and my first attempt was 1906mhz frequency at 868 voltage at with no crashes after playing some BFV and Doom...
As an owner of an EVGA RTX 3080 10GB, the only drawback is the heat during load on the GPU.
With 100 % fan curve (yea its loud), it still reaches 82 degrees. Other than that, it's a good card for the price.
My older 1070 and 2080 never got passed 70 degrees with 65% fan curve, so I was a...
I'm in the process of installing Windows 7 then upgrading to Windows 10 through Media Creation tool.
This is exactly how I did it with my 2 rigs.
I honestly thought that stuff was over and Microsoft didn't offer the free upgrade anymore and that's why I bought a copy.
Thanks alot...
Windows 11 was actually installed, but it was upgraded from windows 10 in that free upgrade last year through TPM 2.0 bypass.
This is my moms rig that I handed down to 6 years ago.
Today, I tried to install the OEM DVD version fresh install of W11 that I bought and got the message "Can't run...
Long story short, I tried to install a newly bought OEM Windows 11 on an older rig for family member but it didn't meet requirements.
I just typed it in when asked to do so during installation and got this message.
Is the key still salvageable for a new install on new MB, Processsor and RAM or...
Old news, but stumbled upon this old Screensavers episode that states [H] got sued by Infinium Gaming?
I was a [H] Lurker back then and watched the Screensavers in the XP time period, so I was just watching it for nostalgia purposes.
Any old [H] members remember that incident? What ever...
Same here. I wen't from ATI AIW Vi/Vo 32mb to TI4400 and was shocked at how much performance I gained.
I was also surprised at how much the performance gained from switching to 6800gt oc from Ti4400. Good times.
When the 8800gtx/Vista came out. I stopped pc gaming for around 5 years and got...
Sniper Elite 4. First time playing the series, and I was expecting a COD type of shooter.
But turns out to be a stealth game and better than I expected. I might try out Sniper Elite 3 afterwards.
What series do you guys like better? Sniper Elite or Sniper Ghost Warrior. I have all the...
Been playing older street fighter games on mame and those games are fun as hell still, of course with an arcade joystick.
I also switched up to Ultra SF 4 and SFV and the gameplay speed in those games are slow as hell. The newer SF games aren't bad, but I prefer older Capcom fighters.
My first recording with a go pro. Just bought a hero 6 couple days ago and it''s alot better than my android phone I was using which has a 30 minute recording limitation.
Still tinkering with the settings but glad I bought it on sale.
The only thing I don't like about it is how the software...
Last Light was a really good game. More fun than I expected and enjoyed it more than 2033 also.
Are you going to play Exodus? Go on a Metro Marathon. It's only fitting.
I had a pretty good experience in Last Light. Didn't take me too long to complete the whole campaign. Around 10-12 hours IIRC.
The length of Exodus is what kinda scares me from starting it. I'm not ready for a 25 hour campaign, so I'll just save it for another time when I'm in the mood...
Splinter Cell Blacklist. I could never finish the game close to the end, so giving it another shot from the beginning. I'm not too optimistic about beating it though. Alot of hair pulling and rage in some parts.
Gears of War 5. The snowmobile scene's are pretty boring. They could have made those scenario's in the game a little less and more shooting. Just my opinion, but this feels like a fallout 3 clone.
Not a bad game, but gears 3 was a lot better. The beginning part of the game was pretty fun...
Mostly single player these days. The only multiplayer game I play is Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 and that's been going down for me lately.
When you've gone through all the multiplayer stuff the past 20 years, it's hard to get interested anymore.
Battle Royale seems to be everyone's...
Going through my 2nd playthrough because of the update 2 weeks ago. This time with a gamepad.
I gotta say, I enjoy it more with a gamepad.
I finished Gears 3 two weeks ago on Xbox and just wanted to skip judgement and go right into this game.
My favorite of the series. It's a close call compared to Blacklist, but this one edges out. I loved the control scheme with mice and kb. On Blacklist, I prefered with a gamepad.
Anyone remember StarForce? Damn, those guy's we're the most hated company back in that time period. The anti...
I was a little late on playing this game, but it turned out better than I expected. Only played a couple round's but it has some nice elements for team gameplay.
Might try it again after I beat Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I saw a PS5 available in Walmart around 6 months ago and didn't buy it. I made the wrong choice since it's hard to even get it now. If only I can turn back the hands of time.
Now, there's no GPU's or Consoles available.
Yea, this game is friggin hard as hell. I've seen other players ease past some of the level's while I have a hard time just getting by the first mission.
Gotta love mame and SNES emulators.
I might check out the latest release from Capcom. The updated visuals look really good.
I've been a CS player since 1999 beta and still haven't tried CS:GO. But from 2005-2008, CSS on HL2 engine was probably my favorite multiplayer shooter of all time.
After that time period, there we're better multiplayer shooters like BF:BC2 and BF3, so I was never really interested in the...
I put around 14 hours in Assassins creed 2 and still didn't finish it. It's a pretty long campaign with a good storyline. I just couldn't handle anymore after putting that much time in it.
I enjoyed Last light, but 2033 was a little boring for my liking. Tried Exodus for an hour and the storyline/gameplay looks good, but the storyline was way to long for what I was looking for at the time.
I will try it again some other time when i'm in the mood for a 20-25 hour campaign.
I have a g13 and use it for GPU fan speed, recording hotkey and other stuff with just a tap of the g keys. Didn't have any troubles programming the macros.
Honestly, I had more fun in the early and mid 2000's than I do these days. Maybe i'm just getting old, but the games of today just bore the heck out of me.
I remember playing games like Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Farcry 2004 which amazed me how far we came after going through dx8.
Now...
The Ti 4000 series lasted pretty long in the DX8.1 days even though it was post 2001 (dx9 release). I had my Ti 4400 for 3 years until real games in Farcry 2004, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory came out.
It was more geared toward games like medal of honor: Allied Assault, Warcraft 3. That was a...
Just got this update and the installation didn't take too long. In previous latest releases, it would normally take at least 25 minutes or longer. No issues so far after gaming.
