that's what i did (dug around into each sub-folder until i found an .exe or .msi - of which was found in: Drivers/13-9-legacy_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc/Packages/Apps/CCC2/Utility/ccc-utility.msi
even did an uninstall/reinstall and same thing - it seems to install fine (no errors) but unable to open...
located and installed: Drivers/13-9-legacy_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc/Packages/Apps/CCC2/Utility/ccc-utility.msi - which installs without error but upon running ccc.exe i get:

Could not load file or assembly 'CCC.Implementation' or one of its...
original s-video cable, and i swapped but same outcome. google also indicates the black&white + flashing output indicates NTSC/PAL mismatch.
i scanned the card but found NO pins on the board (either that the jumper is on the wrong pins or that the jumper is missing entirely) - there is simply...
yeah that's the point - i like the old school look of it. just curious why the exact same card is having this issue and can't figure out how/where to change from NTSC to PAL (or vice versa).
OS: windows 7
drivers: 13-9-legacy_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc
video card: ATI HD 4870
have a legacy setup with PC s-video output to older TV that i use as a second monitor.
my original HD 4870 died randomly and it was replaced with a used HD 4870 online.
freshly wiped old drivers (display driver...
currently use the old lian li from about 6years ago, but growing tired of the 80mm fans.
it's a bit overwhelming with case selection these days; im curious if there are any popular "go to" cases out there that are often recommended.
i'd prefer all 120mm fans to keep noise to absolute...
echos are indirect signals arriving ~80ms after direct signal (ignoring gain for simplicity) - but yes, the high-gain early signals arriving with haas interval should be mitigated.
+1 absolutely. the canted walls also allow the attenuation of the indirect signals without removing energy...
oc703/oc705 has too high gas flow resistivity to be very effective for LF porous absorption.
clueless.
porous absorbers "work" by converting the kinetic energy of particle velocity of the soundwave into heat via friction against the porous structure. thus, the porous insulation needs to be...
absolutely incorrect. additional subwoofers do not "cause more standing waves". the room dictates resonances; the subwoofers merely drive these resonances.
the "booming" is not a function of just the frequency response but also the decay times of the LF energy. in a resonance, the energy...
absolutely not.
you said:
"Then put down some carpet, rugs, nice curtains etc and you should have a pretty good room. Most home cinema rooms that I have been that have had room treatments sound lifeless. "
first of all, carpet, rugs, curtains, etc are thin porous absorbers and are not...
it's not with respect to a monitor - it's with respect to the chart-plotter outlined in the original post.
i am not physically there - but my dad said he was simply not getting any signal when connecting the chart-plotter to his television. hence, assuming may be a resolution issue.
dad purchased a new boat chart-plotter and it has optional output to connect to other display devices (eg, a tv in the gallery).
it appears his tv does not support the output resolution of the chart-plotter, and is looking at options (eg, video converter).
the plot-charter video-out is DVI...
i downloaded the .ipa, opened itunes, shift+click on the "manually check for update" - re-pushed 6.1. jailbroke. away we go. sbsettings and f.lux. FINALLY AGAIN.
my biggest upset is no longer having an icon to lock the phone (via cydia) - and having to press the physical button before tossing the phone into my pockets.
...the little things
no sbsettings (quick adjust volume, brightness, etc)
no "quicklock" icon so i don't have to press the physical button to lock phone
no 5-icon dock
no 5-icon rows
no remove icon text/labels
replaced my 4s and the new units are shipping with 6.0 software.

it doesn't appear that any jailbreak is available for 4s - but if anyone has any information otherwise please respond.
since jailbreak isn't out just yet, does it make sense to go ahead and upgrade to 6.0.1?
do those QRDs adhere to the Barker Code modulation for normal and inverse panels? as you increase the periodcity, the diffraction lobes become more specular. you can utilize an inverse quadratic residue diffuser with modulation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barker_code) to even out the polar...
the acoustic center should be at ear height.
ideally, the speakers should be placed off the desk and many feet in front of the desk (towards the front wall) such that the specular reflection off the desk is minimized or eliminated (read: blocked by the desk). use stands (cinder blocks when in...
stumbled upon my old (gameport) ms force feedback pro joystick.
i've googled but come up empty handed regarding a firm solution - does anyone know if there are drivers (win7) for this joystick?
right - when we tried to apply that, that's when it wanted to sync and mentioned clearing my phone to resync with his laptop -- which is why i stopped right there altogether ..
so, i deleted most of my music to make space for photos/videos.
ended up filling my phone so i wanted to delete the rest of my music
connected to friend's laptop/itunes, and couldnt manually manage (delete) music to free up space without sync'ing (which i had caution about, as it seemed like...
carpet is not a broadband absorber that will attenuate the full range of specular reflections.
a "bass trap" (singular), is likely not doing anything in your room. in small acoustical spaces, you need to hit as many of the corners as you can with as thick of porous (velocity-based) absorbers...
