I would say it's worth it if you like the game. There are subtle differences between vanilla and classic, but nothing that's turned me off enough to quit. The journey is great and I'd say it's worth it just for some fun co-op with friends.

One thing Id like them to add is movement key navigation in the menus. Like cycling through companion loadouts with a and d would be great.

How is it that you're able to defer updating? My game won't even let me play before updating if they push a patch.

Hunter. I've had particularly bad luck on drops when theres only a few hunters and I could get cheap loot, then when it's raining giantstalker gear everyone shows up and are out bidding me

Yea I don't get the logic behind complaining that there is an optimum spec for one thing. Of course there will be! The thing with vanilla is that there is so much more than just raiding. Also, I never had a standard Hunter spec and was invited to plenty of raids even back in the day.

Amen to that. It kinda peeves me off that they put in these raids post nerf. The only thing slowing down anyone's progress is going to be the content release schedule rather than the difficulty of the content itself. The mere fact that APES did not require fire resist gear is proof enough...

And Rag. From what I gather, the current state of the raid content they are using had gone through the entire gauntlet of tuning and nerfs. Player skill aside, It's nowhere near as hard as it was at actual classic phase 1 because they didn't dial back any of the patch changes on the raid...
