Hybrid is the way to go. Quieter and cooler performance than any air cooled cards. Isn't that what we want in a GPU?
What kind of TimeSpy graphics score are you getting with those settings?
Mine will hold ~2100-2145MHz with +1000 Mem. On air it was about 50MHz slower to stay stable.
Test it and let us know...lol.
Looks like it supports 8100 or better...
An AIO is definitely capable of cooling this chip. These are all using a push/pull Corsair H115i on an open bench at 5.1GHz 1.325v 0 AVX offset....
Yeah...it definitely wants to run hot, but it is coolable. It's inscredibly snappy with plenty of muscle at 5.1.
9900k 5.1GHz 1.33v w/ no AVX offset. Memory 4200 17-17-17-37. Chip has been delidded with copper IHS installed and is under a Heatkiller IV...
If you are getting BSOD, even if it is only sometimes, it is not stable. Add voltage...not all 9900ks can do 5ghz @ 1.3v.
I bought my chip from someone who was doing a round of binning. It was sold to me as a 5.1Ghz chip dellided with a Rocketcool copper IHS...
Well...I ended up making the title of this thread accurate in the long run. I swapped to the 9900k z390 setup and stuck with the EVGA Dark boards...
It looks like even a 7820x @ 4.8GHz will hold back a 2080ti a touch...
Well, there is a giant picture of 4 dimms, a picture of the box showing 4 dimms, and a part number that is only applicable to 4 dimms, but I see...

I know this is not exactly on topic, but here is some Apex footage I grabbed earlier today while testing something. This is with a 2080ti, max...
Correct. That is fpsmon. I was just testing it in that video. It is a nice little tool.
What CPU are you planning on running in it?
This sexy thing showed up at more doorstep today...
I just ordered a backplate from Germany a few days ago. If I would have seen this first we could have split the international shipping. It...
Bump for a pretty product...
I saw around a 25-30% bump going from 1080ti to 2080ti @ 3440x1440. The new NVENC chip and the new versions of OBS designed to take advantage of...
What voltage at 5GHz?
What is the max temp you have seen? Have you had a chance to do any extended testing or gaming? Just wondering what the temps are when...
Q2 of next year will be almost 2 years from 2080ti release.
Bump for payday
I recieved this from EVGA a few weeks ago. I upgraded during the RMA process.
Heatware under same name.
It is not using the "A" binned chip and will not work with a bios made for the "A" binned chips. It cannot be flashed with a higher power limit...
I am pretty sure you cannot flash the EVGA Black card.
Anyone else run Port Royal yet?
It came with new pads installed on the block.
Fair enough. How about you let me know when they make one that competes with a 1080ti....you know the Nvidias almost fastest last gen card from...
When someone else has a viable alternative at the top of the GPU hierarchy they will get my money. Until then, I will buy what it take to play...
That is a fair point.
Yes. I am an adult.
