Is it sound card worth it more than an audio interface?
I mean, I do know for a fact that audio interface give you a neutral sound, and I believe it sound good but I never tried it.
Okay, both the sound card and audio interface should be roughly between $150-$200 dollar.
Next is the neutral headphone or headphone/headset that should be roughly $100-$200 dollar.
Okay, I am considering to buy a headphone along with an audio equipment to make my gaming experience a lot better, but I am stuck on deciding which of them I should choose.
Should I buy a neutral headphone/audio interface even though it may be cheaper or I should buy a headphone/headset with...
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y580, it has 1366x768, 720p, 15.6", Intel Core i7 3610QM, GTX 660m and Windows 8 that is going to be Windows 8.1 soon.
Okay, is it possible to install OS X on my laptop?
I'll be using an Ableton Live 9 which it allows me to use virtual instrument sounds and combine it to make a music. I do plan to buy a portable piano and a guitar for it.
What I mean is the important equipment for music composer. Like do I need anything else beside a headphone, audio...
Okay, quick question.
Okay, what are the equipment that I should need for music producing?
I know I need a neutral headphone, audio interface and maybe amp to boost the volume. What else though? I just want to make sure I got all the stuff, lol.
Well, earlier, I was helping my cousin to find his headphone and/or audio interface/sound card for him to listen to music.
Okay, I told him to buy Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro 250 Ohm and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, and he got though.
The headphone was amazing to him, and he love it, however, the audio...
By the way, is it worth buying a cooling pad for Macbook Pro 15 Retina?
I don't know how hot it'll get while running a lot of applications at the same time.
And can you turn off the dedicated GPU on Macbook Pro 15 Retina?
Do I need a sound card or audio interface if I plan to use it only to listen to music or I am better off using the on-board sound with the neutral headphone?
By the way, if I were plan to listen just the music, do I need a sound card or audio interface or it won't make a much different? Along with buying a neutral headphone?
I think I'll go for HM5 because it looks affordable and someone mention it is the most neutral headphone that I can buy for that budget wise.
I am aware there are a lot of better one, but they are quite pricey.
I can't tell the difference between a bass headphones and a neutral headphones.
If...
I have a limited knowledge on audio, so I don't know what to say.

I'll be using Albeton Live 9, and I have it.
I'll be doing instrumentals. You know, taking part of instrument sounds and compose them together to make a music.
For budget, I want it to be cheap as possible without sacrificing the qualities of it. I don't mean like $20 or whatever cheap. If...
I am asking the audiophile and music producer on what is a good audio interface and neutral headphone.
I asked one of my friend who does music producing, and he told me to get
Beyerdynamic DT headphone along with Focusrite 2i2.
I'll be using it on both OS X and Windows, so I would like...
No, no, I don't mean the Macbook is breaking the messenger bag straps. I meant the messenger bag itself breaks it own straps due to a lot of weights I believe.
Basically, how much can that messenger bag handle?
Also, comparing Macbook Pro 15 Retina with Ivy Bridge to Haswell. Which is better?
Just the CPU itself rendering and performing the tasks at single and multicores...
I am still curious if it is still worth spending extra $500 dollar for a MBPr with GT 750m for a Refurbished one on Apple's Store.
http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/mac/macbook_pro/15
Well, not only it has a dedicated GPU, it double the RAM and Flash Storage.
Also, what kind...
Also quick question, if buying refurbished Macbook Pro 15 Retina, is it worth paying extra money for a dedicated GPU or the Intel Iris IGP can handle it without any problem.
I bought it on Amazon, so I have to ask Samsung for warranty service.
I did called Samsung, but it didn't work out because my Nexus 10's model number is "Nexus 10". They can't help me sadly.
Even though I am leaning toward on buying a new tablet for my mom, however, I don't really know.
Also...
Okay, back on August, I've bought a Nexus 10 for my moms, so I can traded it for a Nexus 7 (2012) that she was using it.
However, on December, Nexus 10 is starting to give us problems, and it is annoying to fix it.
I can't really return to Samsung to ask them to fix it because it doesn't...
Excellent explanation. I always get tied up between hardware and price of Mac because I am a PC gamer, but I think my final decision is getting closer.
Of course, I am not going to blame you guys if I make a mistake on it, however, it is going to wait till I feel like it is now the time to...
Also what machine does Software Engineer use?
I read it somewhere that they use Mac because their OS is "safe" from virus/malwarebytes while Windows isn't and Linus OS is okay, but they don't have a lot of software supports.
Again, I only read it somewhere, so I want some confirmation from...
Yeah, I know. I found one on Amazon for 1.4k that is literally maxed out.
Intel Core i7 Quad Core
16GB RAM
512GB Flash Storage (SSD)
Retina Display
GT 650m I belive
It is a nice deal for that spec if I compare it to other MBPr, it'll cost me nearly 2k or 3k for it.
However, I am not in a rush...
By the way, there are some people selling MBPr on this forum, right?
How am I suppose to know they are trustworthy to buy it from?
Compare to overclock.net, they have a reputation feature to allow buyer know that they are trustworthy.

Right now, I guess it isn't worth buying MBP for right now. I am still in a Community College which it isn't required to bring a laptop to school to use. Tablet is okay. I am going to wait till I am in University then I might buy MBP. Well, I do know sooner or later I am going to get MBP because...
Do you know how I can get Macbook Pro much cheaper beside going on eBay or Craiglist?
Also you can upgrade the RAM and storage in MBP, right?
Do also know when there'll be a next MBP because I am assuming it might be cheaper.
The softwares will work both on OS X and Windows.
Reason why I want a laptop is that I can work on the go. Like going to visit my grandma that live in California while I live in Texas. Can't really carry my heavy desktop to there.
I know it pretty much sounded like it is pointless to get...
Hello, guys, I am curious if it is worth buying MacBook Pro?
I don't know if Retina display is worth it.
I'll be using the laptop primarily for animation/music producing/graphic design.
I already have a gaming PC, so I thought it'll be cool to mix thing up. You know have Window Desktop and...
