Doesn't this compete with Optane? If so they might not have any incentive to release a product.
Also had to look up whether Optane used MRAM. It uses 3D XPoint which one source says is phase change memory.
OLED has blue pixel life expectancy issues, which can cause burn in (or whatever they're calling it). As long as the screen is large enough to hold all of the LEDs then this is typically considered superior. It might have higher power consumption.
Man, I misread the title and thought that something in the contract bound you until the year 2080. I looked all over trying to figure out how that was possible.
Anyway, I voted yes because NDAs are common in the tech sector and this one doesn't seem that bad. [H] was never a leaky site anyway...
According to Ars, the SpaceX satellites will orbit at about 1,200km of altitude and the current slow satellites orbit at about 35,400km.
At the speed of light (299,792,458 m/s) a radio signal takes about 8ms to travel 1,200km and back. It takes 29.5 times longer, or 236ms to travel 35,400km and...
I usually stop by Best Buy every other month to stare at the glorious LG OLEDs on display. In a well lit store the screen is more than bright enough. I suggest you see for yourself if you have the opportunity.
They had a business model, and then their visits dropped 65% in a month according to the owner. Let's assume he's correct and honest, then he seems to have a valid complaint. I've been to that website once, probably to settle a bet, and I remember browsing for a few minutes afterward, like going...
When they provide the upgrade to 10 for free you can only blame yourself for not switching. I don't like W10 all that much, but I saw the writing on the wall when MS tried to get people to let go of XP.
Currently using FreeNAS without ECC. My understanding is that it is useful when using the FreeNAS software RAID. I'm just using one disk.
My question is, what's the cheapest method of building an ECC computer?
I thought the opposite. Every now and then I go to Best Buy to drool over the OLEDs. I noticed I was staring a little harder at the curved TV and thought it looked slightly better and the best I could figure was it had less noticeable glare. Other factors may have come into play, like the flat...
I see your screenshot at 1.368V and 5GHz, but I was wondering if you were able to achieve 4.9 at a lower VCore than without the new TIM
Also, you said your previous attempts at 5GHz you used 1.35V, does that mean you were able to push more voltage after the de-lid?
Don't you have 3 more...
Yes, a game changer that will create millions of jobs assuming those job creators have access to the resource. It will create hundreds of jobs if big corps divide it amongst themselves and squander the resource.
If you think removing net neutrality will create opportunities you are ignoring the...
It kind of defeats the 12 second installation, but I could see the product being delivered a little too tall and then using TIM or dye to judge the spacing. Then you just lap a little material off the bottom.
I like it, once everything is installed I don't really move anything afterward anyway. My main concern is how consistent is the height difference from chip to chip? I'd hate to have poor contact or crush something.
For pure pixel switching I am pretty sure it's OLED, TN, IPS, VA. We just haven't seen an OLED that wasn't a TV with all of the TV overhead.
Looks like the IPS is required here for the color accuracy and contrast ratio.
Audio-technicas with this arrangement: ATH-A900X - High-Fidelity Closed-Back Headphones | Audio-Technica are 10 hour comfortable. I have the ATH A700s and don't even notice them when they're on.
For reference, my head is largish. I wear a large Shoei motorcycle helmet, but it's a very snug fit...
Comcast called and offered a limited time promotional offer to bundle some cable and get faster internet. I simply told them I wasn't willing to deal with a cable box. The call ended shortly after.
I've found that now I basically only watch shows is when I'm eating or the sun has set and nobody...
So the North Koreans won't take anything home.
Edit: Google just showed me that DPRK has 5 medals!? I'm not sure I'd want to bring a medal home. It would make you a political target. Or maybe they make you compete and lose to Fearless Leader.
Museum Glass® - Tru Vue, Inc
I've always heard of this technology referred to as museum glass. If you go to a nice museum you can actually see the stuff in action.
The review I read said that's is 24 hours of activity and there's a cable the charges and converts it to a wired mouse.
I don't like the ambidextrous design.
Laptop OLEDs on the horizon?! Seems like a reasonable step seeing as phones have gotten so large in the past few years. Most phones are only an inch or two from being laptops anyway :p
