Nothing special. I had to remove the x570 fan from the GB X570 I Board to have a little more room to put it in the PCIe Slot. The backplate seems to be a little bit higher than my GTX 980 backplate.. After that I screwed it in again. No problems. I also orderd the Removable Front I/O...
Finally I got the EVGA RTX3090 and it fits very good in the ncase.
I just wanted to make sure I have thre right fan setup.
Currently: 2 Fans underneath the Card, one Side intake and 90mm out in the back.
CPU is 3700x. Temps are at the moment 75°C for CPU and 80°C for the RTX.
I checked the Idea for the ncase riser and I was thinking about getting it for a Silverstone CS280 too.
That case has just two PCIe expansion slots but your idea should work in the same way as in the Ncase M1 right?
So I can add a Low profile Sata expansion card and a single Slot GPU.
Big thx to C_Payne the Pcie x8x8 works very well. I did a Firestrike Benchmark and copied some data to the Sonnet SSD. Both worked. This brings many new ideas and work to my DAN case.
Keep up the good work!
Ok so I would take the new one revision with SATA Power Connector. Long time ago since I soldererd by my own.
Also the whtie parts printed in black.
How much would that be including Sending fee (I'm Germany based)?
Great to hear!
What did you take to screw it tight? (the white thing?)
What about maximal power consumption?
Right now I would put a single Slot GTX 1050 https://geizhals.de/inno3d-geforce-gtx-1050-compact-single-slot-n10502-1sdv-e5cm-a1651587.html?hloc=de and a Sonnet Tempo PCIe bracket...
Wow, thanks for testing. Sounds great that Bifurcation is suported out of the box.
DAN also mentioned, that PCIe4.0 doesnt work with the risers in Dan CAse v3 and 4. Link
So maybe some peaople have to order a new riser for getting PCIe 4.0.
Looking forward for the Bifurcation solution in the...
I'm not able to check it right now. I will unscrew it later on to take a picture. Otherwise maybe dondan could say it easily.
Regarding that picture I would say yes: Edit: I don't know.
Edit2: I'm bad in taking pictures. Added two more. There is the power cord. In what position would you put...
It is definetly.
Custom Riser would be great. The Cable Riser changed several times :https://www.dan-cases.com/dana4_spec.html
If you scroll down on the spec page, there is a changelog. I have the one with v1 and the "ADT PCIe 3.0 x16 Flexible Riser × 1" one. The ADT is just 185mm long.
I love this thread. I have a x99e ITX in a Dan A4 and want to put a PCIe splitter on the GPU side. So what I know is, I need a singe slot Riser like the Ameri-Rack ARC1-PELY423-CxV3. I also found on C_Payne Website the "x8x8 left turn -1 Slot distance"...
It got released two weeks ago and I'm still excited.
It is around 419 but you'll get a standard GTX 1080 for 480 €. So there should be a little more price difference. But so far a very interesting Card!
I like the idea a lot. I'm using the Cooler Master Elite 361 at the moment and its really packed with evertything inside. Your idea looks great. Where would you ship from if there would be a Kickstarter campaign?
OMG.. and you know what? I read that and was thinking what great Idea that is/was.
There is a dutch seller so it might take less days than sending it from the US.
But Thank you again for providing that idea! :)
I got a cheap shot on a Asrock X99 ITX at Amazon. I dont have any 2011-3 CPU nor DDR 4 memory. I want to wait for the new Broadwell-E Generation. But I think there has to be an BIOS update first.
Furture config 6900k + 32GB Corsair DDR4.
Is it possible to do a bios update with an...
The Design looks already great. You can save mones if you tell us which riser to buy and which power switch to choose. I think NFC did that with the S4 mini.
The rgeulations in Germany are hard, so maybe there is a chance to pick it up in the US. ;)
Do you use it as a normal PC or HTPC with a TV?
I Have already 2 USB, a Headphone Jack and a Cardreader in my Dell u2711 integrated.
You also can use USB Stick sized Card Reader for plugging in in a USB cable underneath a TV or Monitor.
I like it more when everything is plain. That makes a...
I know there were already discussions about that board, but in my opinion there is no need for that.
Anyone who owns a case in that dimenstions (like MS-Tech CI-100 / CI-110) doesnt need front stuff. You can easily reach the whole I/O Panel by grabbing behind it. People cant tell that they are...
I actually came up wit that idea because of this guy:
Mini ITX semi Passiv Gaming PC mit 4,7l Volumen und integriertem Netzteil
But in this version there is no chance for any 2,5" HDD and I prefer more the SFX power supply.
The HDD mounting on your case looks great. Looking forward to see more.
I'm looking exactly for that one.
I already made some prints on my own and part list. But now i changed from a GTX 750 ti to a GTX 960 and now I need more room for the 6 Pin PCIe.
I thought about AlMg3 and thick panels to drill taps in there. How do you fix the panel to the case?
That was under load. But no overclocking.
I wanted to have an Asetek 545lc but they charged 30$ shipping to Europe. So i decided to make it on my own.
I did that once too in my Shuttle.
I got the Hardware Labs Black Ice GT Xtreme Micro 92 and the Cooler Master IceBerg Prestige on a i7 3820. The pump was very loud. I had Temps around 60s °C. That was fine for me.
Sadly I ended up with a leaking CoolerMaster pump. The 3820 got killed. I just...
