I don't remember when my sign up was because EVGA'S site was a mess at launch day ..so I'm going to guess it was a day or two after launch day and my email came at 15:01 eastern
I'm with you on that. I had a 970 and had about the same results. Mine was an open box Asus Strix that I think the last owner overclocked to much. It ran great in Far Cry 4 but started to get empty polygons and other distortions. I might buy a replacement or wait to see what AMD is going to...
Or the people that say will they never buy Nvidia cards again and the next AMD card has some kind of issue, they will be here saying they'll never buy AMD again!
I like the Asus 970 and I want to go SLI. I haven't had any stuttering in Farcry 4 but I have had a few freezes though. I have about a 2.5 week return window on the card. I play games at 1080P. I have to just wait and see.
I have a new 970 and this talk of class action lawsuit is just plain dumb. I remember when the ATI 5870 came out and there was this issue of the card getting a gray screen. It was a driver issue as far as I know that resolved itself. There was a thread here and people were going on and on about...
I still have the ghosting problem when I change the AA setting to SMAA from TXAAx2..I have a GTX 670 SLI setup and almost all the stuttering is gone though!
Great Thread!...I recently pulled out my old Dell V 400C computer and loaded up Win ME on it.Here is a link for a lot of unofficial updates and patches for anyone who needs them.Win 98/Win ME still lives! http://www.mdgx.com/upd98me.php#010711 Good luck!
