I just updated the firmware on mine. Rebooted and the computer locked up. Bios now says I don't have a bootable drive even though the 980 pro is present. Guess it's time to shop for a new SSD.
Has anyone recently picked up a Razer Naga Pro and ended up having issues with it? I had really bad luck with this particular Razer mouse. First one I got only worked when wired to the PC, battery seemingly never worked. Second one I got worked great initially, but just died on me this morning...
Same here going from 5800X to the 5800X3D, I grabbed one from Microcenter yesterday. 8 cores is all I need right now and I wanted to check out the new tech. Though I want to get a better AIO cooler before installing it.
Over all the RMA process was fairly smooth. They sent my a whole new upper assembly for a replacement. Unfortunately the piston died when I tried taking everything apart, so I bought a new one. I figure Vertagear would of sent me a new piston, but I didn't want to wait longer than I had to for a...
When I was sitting in my Vertagear Triigger 350 this morning I heard a loud pop and found the backside no longer has anymore support. On the left side where the back frame connects to the base, it looks like some pins popped out. Chair has been terrific since the purchase back in July 2017. I...
I'm planning to play around with the clock speeds more this weekend. Last weekend I started playing with the min clock speed more and found that helped with Time Spy.
Probably do like you said and see if I can get the average clock higher by reducing the max clocks/voltage.
I want to play...
Eye ball average around 2540MHz in the first graphics test and hovering around 2500Mhz in the second graphics test. I haven't got close to the actual max speed, but from what I tested having the high max speed pushes the clock generally higher.
The Microcenter in Cambridge had a few of things in last night to my amazement. I already settled on a B550 mini itx, otherwise I would of snatched one up likely.
12 in stock as of this morning.
Combos are a dual edged sword you may get a total junk component with the purchase. I got stuck with a PSU I'm not thrilled about with my 6900 XT from Newegg, while I am using it I'll probably part it out sooner or later.
Does anyone have a 6800 or 6900 Big Navi card running as expected when used as a eGPU? My 6900 XT is being problematic for me at least (going to be used in a soon to be desktop build).
When I first install the latest AMD drivers the card is setup and I can play games plus output to an external...
I tried this tonight, but it didn't work. I saw multiple cards in stock on the wishlist, but nothing was ever added to the cart. Probably just bad luck.
On the flip side I was on the discord tracker and snagged a 6900 XT combo that dropped today that was linked. Came with a 750W PSU though...
Managed to snag a 6800 and PSU combo. Not crazy about the price on the 6800 since it's reference. PSU will be potentially useful if I switch back to a desktop I guess.

I went to my local Microcenter to see if they had the G9 on display, sadly they did not. The previous Samsung model was on display, looked great but my god was the screen real estate huge. I'm sure I could cope with it, but I think the G9 is a better match having more of a curve.
I'm partly...
Has anyone done any C or Java programming on the new Macs yet? Was curious how the IDEs are performing. I am slightly considering getting a mac mini to play around with and use as a option of last resort for my programming courses should my laptop die on me.
Bump. Pictures are up, hard to get the faint scratches on the back to show. If you aren't happy with the condition when getting it the mail, I'm happy to take it back it if you pay return shipping.
