I own 750 shares and wish I could buy more. I said we will see $70, I am thinking more like $100+ next year.

Can someone suggest 4x16GB quad channel ram kit for this board with a 1950x? I would like to stay in the $600 range.
I was thinking about this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233891
I am just hesitant because of this review from 10/2017 writes " Cons: It is not...
Yeah this is why I posted this question.
In that article it says:
"Lastly, we have the Threadripper 1950X, the flagship 16 core part under the 1st Gen Threadripper family. This chip can now be found around $799 US (SEP), however, we have seen online retailers listing it for much under that...
Starting a build and in no rush. Only buying pieces when I find deals.
I can get the 1950x now New for $650 after ebay code. Should have been $617 but newegg bumped the price up when the ebay code went live.
So anyways right now the going price is $717. Do you guys think in 4 week we could...
So the new 1180 and 1170 look like they are coming this summer. My plan was to go 1180 but now I am thinking it might be a good time to buy a current card.
What would you consider a really good price on a New 1080ti, 1080, and 1070ti?
What would be a really good price on a Used 1080ti, 1080...
So my son just got a PS4 Pro and looking to get a TV/monitor for his room.
I will be getting him a cheap computer to hook up to this for browsing and youtube.
So it will be for neflix, computer browsing, and mostly PS4 gaming. Which right now is fortnite (1080p 60fps).
I am pretty much down...
Yup in the same boat as your customers, been ready to upgrade for a long time, but no way in hell am I paying more than MSRP. Looks like the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to appear though...
Yeah I need to see more test on all 3 OCed before I decide. I am in no rush, but right now it looks like the 1700 is the way to go but for some reason I think I will end up going 1700x.
For HD/4k video editing and rendering (with vegas, premier, etc) CPU is the main factor. They have done test with mediocre gpu's vs the very best and the results are pretty much the same. It also seems once you go above 8 cores on the CPU the returns are diminished.
The only exception right...
I am so pumped for these CPU's, I hope they do well. I have needed a new computer for video editing for well over a year and have come close so many times to buying an ebay xeon. I am so glad I waited and can support AMD. I am going 1800x or 1700x and will also be going with an AMD graphics...
So looking at the 1070/1080 card coming out it looks like the outputs are the same as the 970/980 cards.
Will we see any cards with multiple outputs?
I need something that will do triple monitors + 2 more monitors at least.
Yeah that is what I thought. AMD does still produce cards that support 5 and even 6 monitors on 1 card though.
The ASUS STRIX R9 Fury DC3 4GB supports 5 monitors for example.
I am getting the itch to upgrade my race sim rig which is in my basement gym. This is the computer that has the...
Oh damn, didn't know NVIDIA's drivers limited it to 3+1.
Was hoping for at least 3+2 but I guess that won't happen. :(
A 980 with 4 x DP, 1 X HDMI, and 1 x DVI with the ability to use all ports would have been awesome...
Thanks you kind sir for posting this awesome news. This is what I have been waiting so long for.
Been running 3x PX2611W IPS monitors for a long time, and love them with super fast input lag. 5ms response and less than 8ms of input lag as tested by ToastyX. It's just the old school 60hz...
I am so happy to see the 980's with 1 x HDMI 1 x DVI and 3 x DP. Definitely a step in the right direction. Unfortunately for me, I still need more outputs. The max from what I read is 4 monitors.
Any rumors on a non reference 980 (or 970) coming out with more outputs?
One of the main...
Ok cool I will look into that, thanks!
[edit] That worked. I set up 3 hotkeys, 1 for each location.
Anyone know if I can default a CCC preset on startup?
Is it possible with eyefinity to open a game in fullscreen mode that is not your primary monitor?
I am running a lightning 7970 that runs this in my basement gym:
3x1 group for sim racing cockpit (pain in the ass to get in and out of)
1 monitor (which is my primary) in front of my row...
