Recently, TWC has decided that residential multiple IP's are not going to happen.
I had this service on my account (free with the internet service I have). I called up to see why a second firewall was not pulling an IP and they removed the service from my account and said "going forward, we...
When I use imgburn to create a .iso file from a disc that is bootable, I get the .iso AND a 5k additional file. (layer info?)
When I try to use the Windows 7 USB tool to put that .iso onto a flash drive, I get an error that says the .iso file (big one) is not valid.
How do I get around this?
I ended up buying the game, but I can't get more than 10 minutes into it without it crashing.
I've downloaded and installed the latest beta drivers and have only changed the quality setting to normal from low.
Crashes every time. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
rtangwai, you were right. I found that feature in the CCC. I feel much better now!
Now since I had to disable crossfire on the second card to make that 3rd display work before I upgraded, if I enable crossfire again, will I break my current settings?
My adapter arrived today. I purchased the XFX mDP to DVI cable. I made sure it was an active adapter.
have the left and right DVI connected, and I have the center main connected via the adapter. Yes, I was able to join all 3 into a group.
Here is what I have noticed. It's not like...
The link that yossarian posted seems to be an active adapter.
Also this, http://www.amazon.com/Accell-B086B-008B-2-UltraAV-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B00DOZHL82/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1388714868&sr=1-1&keywords=active+mini+display+port+adapter
Either *should work?
I purchased this adapter.
After fiddling a little bit, I can get the left monitor and 1 other to come up. When I try to select the 3rd monitor in Windows Display Properties, it says "The display settings could not be saved. Please try a different...
I have received my HDMI to mDP adapter and I am still having the same issue.
My middle and right monitor work (both on DVI on card 1), but I cant' get the left monitor to show as active to extend the desktop to (HDMI to mDP adapter on card 1).
I have 3 monitors. A Samsung 24" in the middle, and 2 ASUS 24" on each side of that.
I am running 2 AMD 6850's.
I can't get the 3rd monitor (on the left) join a Eyefinity group. The Catalyst software is recognizing only 2. The left monitor is grayed out, even though it is fully usable in...
Okay, I have checked my Win 8 PC and it did indeed have the RASMAN service stopped. I set it to automatic, rebooted and voila!
-Something changed all of them on this network, and it wasn't me. :) No idea.
I checked my Windows Updates and found that I am getting the Windows Defender updates...
It's a workgroup environment, no AD. You make a good point on the firewall though.
The issue I have now is that I am trying to set up and install a Hyper-V 2012 server (not server 2012) and the way you configure it is to connect via RDP, no local GUI.
So, I need to find a way to remotely...
I think I got it. The service Remote Desktop Connection Manager has been changed to Manual startup instead of Automatic like on my Win 7 PC's.
Obviously, you have to do this locally, so I'll have to test it later.
I am seeing an issue with being able to RDP to Windows 8 PC's in the last week.
I can VPN to a location, get on the network, and RDP to any of my Win 7 PC's with ease. When I try to RDP to my Win 8 PC's, the connection acts like it's not listening for it.
I have checked the remote settings...
I've had a chance to look over the posts and then my Sonicwall.
The rules won't let me create a new LAN to WLAN, it says that the new rule overlaps another. It must see that rule as both ways, possibly indicated with the up and down arrows in the rule itself.
Also, the DNS in the DHCP scope...
I have a TZ 100 wireless that I have a 10.xx.xx.x set up on for the LAN. I have a 172.16.xx.xx set up on the WLAN.
I changed the single WLAN to LAN firewall rule that existed by default from Deny to Allow, and I can now ping cross network resources, but I can't initiate any thing like...
I have a Dell 30" TFT display that is beautiful. I love it but I want to get an LED 27" screen.
I recently tried a 24" LED TN display and was horribly disappointed. The black level in gaming was a very dark green, and the gradiants were not reproduced well at all. I was able to see black...
Ah, the times have changed, and didn't even know it.
I have been burning Window's ISO's to DVD. Guess what the 2800 doesn't have? A DVD-rom.
I have a server that sits right above the 2800 that the rail is broken on, thus hiding the light from the facia of the cd-rom. So, anyone who has...
I did try the Dell Open Manage software and the only option that it gave me during the install was to put in the Server 2003 disc.
I also tried the R2 drivers and the installation screen that prompts for drivers could not find them on a USB drive. I read somewhere that the issue might be that...
With the help of a friend, I was able to download and use this download:
Dell CD ISO - Installation and Server Management, v.5.2.0, A00
Even though there are drivers available for 2008 R2, when I ran the OMA install, I only had the options for Server 2003 and 2003 x 64 bit.
How else can I try...
I am brand new to Dell support, so I am having a tough time finding what you recommended.
Is this it?
Dell OpenManage Connection for IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus, v.1.0, 54_A00
The Dell OpenManage Connection 1.0 for IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus 7.3.1 provides event monitoring capabilities for...
I have a Dell 2800 that I am trying to load Windows Server onto. I am getting stuck at how to install it though. I found the Dell support page and can change the OS driver page to at most 2008 x64 bit
I am at the Windows Server...
I have several PC's at my house that all do DHCP. My router is set to this also.
I am able to set 2 PC's to static IP's and they work fine. Both Win7 and Win8.
After letting them go into sleep mode, when they wake up, they are disconnected from all connectivity (LAN and WAN), while the the...
I am looking for a possible all in one utility that will test HP desktop PC's.
I need to test for CPU, memory, and HDD stability.
I would prefer an HP utility, but it does not have to be.
I have searched and found bits and pieces of testing software but want a singular solution if...
I am still a little confused. If you have 5 PC's at home and you want to install Win8 Enterprise, you get one key for that and you can activate that key... how many times?
Also, how long is that activation good for?
I just need a little clarification on the Tech Net subscription level.
If I do Standard, I get 2 licenses for Win 8, not sure what version.
If I do Professional, how many Win 8 licenses should I be have access to?
I am looking for a couple of ideas here.
I would like to be able to install some software that will run within Windows that will make an image of it.
Basically, I want to be able to duplicate or 100% backup one PC so that I would be able to image it back to another PC. The problem is...
