    Worth the Upgrade? DDR5 6800 CL32 to DDR5 7200 or 7600 (OC to 7600 - 8000) ?

I just bought G.Skill 6400 CL32 and I'm running it at 7466 CL36 stable. It is Hynix A-die which is the new good DDR5 for high overclocking. You may be able to get more out of your existing sticks.

    What are your DDR5 overclocks?

I have an Intel 13900K with an Asus Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard. Previously I was using the only DDR5 memory I had, some Corsair 6200 CL 36 (Hynix M-die), some very nice memory for 2022. I recently bought some G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 6400 CL32 (Hynix A-die). It failed to post at 7800. At 7600...

New and Improved Watercooling Sticky - Post Your Systems Here

Tubing is Corsair Hydrp X XT Softline10/13mm ID/OD tubing. Temps when both the CPU and GPU are at full tilt, water temp get pretty high. Corsair's site says this case cannot handle the wattage and they are right. The glass front panel restricts the air too much. If I leave the front door open a...

New and Improved Watercooling Sticky - Post Your Systems Here

Open loop in this definition is that the loop has to be put together, and not an AIO which would be closed loop. I guess we have different definitions. No worries. No, I have many different color options. I tried Intel Blue which looks equally nice. White and titanium colors are pretty as well.

New and Improved Watercooling Sticky - Post Your Systems Here

My first open loop water cooled rig. After two RMAs for defective LEDs, multiple loop configurations and reconfigurations, I landed on this loop.

Keep soft tube or upgrade to hard tube?

Keep soft tube or replace with hard tube? New build in my older Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE. First time building open loop cooling. My original thought was that since I may need to access the 13900k CPU again soon to test in other hardware, that having soft tubing would make it easier to get...

Dell PERC H700 RAID controller reflash firmware

Helly guys. I work for Dell's Enterprise support for Poweredge servers. I can tell you that in a recent firmware update, we did allow non Dell certified drives to work on the H700 controller. It was just a bad decision on Dell's part in my humble opinion.

ATI Silencer RMA with Jab-tech issue...

See here's the reason why they're charging you a restocking fee. Because you're essentially returning the one product and buying another, reguardless to why you're returning it, then there should be a restocking fee. You're not asking for a replacement, you're asking to return the one product...
