I had to plug in my second monitor, turn it on then reboot. After a reboot both should show up in the display settings. Also if you have something plugged in via an s-video cable in the same card the secondary screen may not show up since I think most cards will only support up to 2 displays...

I'm thinking about going with the 37w1 though I was originally going to wait for the w3. It'll probably be like 1700....so is it worth the wait and about $500+ for the new version? $1200 just seems like a good deal. EDIT: BAM! they have a display model for $1350... so with 20% thats 1080...
