Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I forwarded them along - I think he ended up going with the 7600gt temporarily until he does a full system overhaul. Much appreciated!
A friend of mine recently had a 6800GT die on him and was wondering what the best bang/buck would be while keeping an AGP format. I haven't kept up on what cards are the 'gem' of the site in the economy realm, so I thought you guys could give me some input?
Thanks!
Thanks man. Forgot I reposted my craigslist ads - fixed the links.

I'll have to take some glamour shots of my 37w3 in action - ive had it for a couple months now and it's great! It's definitely different using something so large, it's like I have a new poster on my wall every time I change the background
Score. Too bad his 2001fp is currently using his only dvi output, I guess he'll have to live with it connected via vga instead if he wants to use his tv as a secondary.
My roomate is attempting to hook his hdtv up to his pc as a secondary monitor. He currently has it hooked up via svideo, but its pretty low quality, so im trying to figure out the best alternative... besides svideo, the following connections are available:
- PC videocard has a vga and a dvi...
I dont know about that though - maybe there would be an issue if you're cloning the displays? You should be running in dual-view mode (or whatever its called) in which case each monitor is displaying its own set of applications. I know when I drag a video thats currently playing over to my...

I'm thinking about going with the 37w1 though I was originally going to wait for the w3. It'll probably be like 1700....so is it worth the wait and about $500+ for the new version? $1200 just seems like a good deal.
EDIT: BAM! they have a display model for $1350... so with 20% thats 1080...
