This is what happens when you let a board of directors design games. They are out of touch with what made battlefield great or even playable. Makes me sad honestly. Battlefield was the series that made me upgrade my PC to play it at the highest level. Not anymore.

Wife uses a i5 3470 and a 290x for BF1. Plays just fine with medium-high settings @2560x1080. I was planing on upgrading her to a Ryzen build to play BF5. Don't think I'll have to now.

I really hope they don't apply their Battlefront business plan to this franchise. We will know soon enough I suppose. Any news or rumors on what game engine this will run on?

I just want the return of "true" dedicated servers and a web based game search like BF4 had. I don't much care what the theater of war is going to be. Modern would be better for the franchise though.
