Yes, i used a 75 inch Q90 before, it was quite good, i think that the QN85A is quite a bit better - black levels look a lot closer to Oled - but won't compare - that being said, it's the closest i have seen.
I used both for shield streaming, PS5 and my 3090 gaming.
the reason (as i understand...
i also kept my Q90R at standard - but i use my QN85A on High - it has a way better algoritm for the dimming zones - and produced a way better result.
that being said - having 1100+ zones vs the 60ish also helps tremendously..
hi, you can read about input lag here:
they say 6.0 ms at 4k120
also, the contrast ratio is a lot higher on the samsung with local dimming enabled.
i had a 65 Q90R and i changed that for a 85 inch QN85A (the 85" model that has a VA...
but then, only if it's the same day 1 as the console release?
i'll admit - i am stoked to play some of the PS exclusives - i have bought both HZD and days gone - i say bring 'em on!
i dont care if someone, somewhere allready had that experience.. it does not sour my experience..
well, both our answers where wrong..
OP did not want VA, so the only reason i suggested that was because of the quick pixels, it feels more like a TN
and OP really did not want 4k..
4k is nice, but not for everybody.
my perfect screen would be next gen g7 32" 4k VA - i would never personally...
Mayby consider samsung g7 32" 1440p - it's a VA - but its the fastest VA on the market - allmost as fast as TN - i have one, it's really nice
not so serious review: https://www.ign.com/articles/samsung-odyssey-g7-review
s3 2000 or some something it was directX 2 - it actually ran slower when using 3d fuctions - but it could show the demo from MS at about 2-3 fps - quite the experience...
but this was my first 3d (if you wann call it that) card.
before that i had a 386 25sx with some kind of vga card and my...
in denmark - we have both 3070 and 3090's in stock
but no 3080.. at all - but more than 100 3090 in stock now - so this could be due to supply / demand.. - but i get the feeling that nVidia on purpose created a artificial shortage of 3080's to better be able to sell the 3090 with way more...
3070 and 3090's in stock in denmark right now :)
wonder what the computer comes up with once we have supplied it with a paperplane, a rubber band and a used playboy magazine - thesis is that it won't do it well because once we are there - we will be to stupid to use it..
guess what - i aint paying to be a beta user anymore - but best of luck to the rest of you..
and to say that Consoles never held back gaming on the pc is just wrong. but hey - something about arguing on the internet against fanboys and all that, it's a lose-lose situation - i for one am very sad...
Thia right here:
how many games show a meaning full difference with RT? any at all? or are they just moar pretty?
Consoles will drive development - so the amount of RT on the weakest console will be the development ceiling - well unless nV ponies up the cash to make it otherwise.
DLSS will be...
its sad that they got death stranding working with DLSS
but Horizon has got none - this might be an fly in the ointment.. will DLSS support the games i actually want to play?
i tried death stranding - had a couple of ok hours - it's freakin hideo kojima stuff and i dont really get it - but its...
the leaks seems to indicate that the 3080 have 10gb of ram.
then mayby 3080ti will have 12gb.
but the new consoles have doubled in ram size.
so if big navi has 16gb. would that be more future-proofing than DLSS? that would make it a tougher choice for me atleast.
this will indeed be an...
I have to ask (i might regret it) - what is he supposed to act like if he is not experiencing any problems...?
and what are you doing to get nVidia to fix my death strading problems? it might take nVidia forever to dig into this topic when users act like this..
Well i had two crashes in Death stranding yesterday.. while running at 1440p120 DLSS on my oled on my 2080... with full reboot needed.. nothing is overclocked..
the problem seemed to vanish after i set it to 4k60 DLSS - so mayby just mayby my DLSS cores gets overworked when trying to DLSS 120...
