Upgraded to a 4K monitor, have no need for this one. Paid $800+ a couple of years ago for this Dell, it has no issues, no dead pixels.
Looking for $200 local to CT/NYC area so I can avoid shipping. If someone must have it, and is willing to pay for shipping, then PM me and I will consider if...
I know, I was forced to learn about it after I started to get BSODs. It is crazy that ASUS let that BIOS go out to retail products.
My heart dropped as I read threads talking about how it was such a shitty version, that just so happens to be what shipped with my mobo.
I left everything on AUTO...
It was too late, AUTO on that BIOS I blame for frying the CPU. Thankfully Microcenter allowed me to RMA it and I now have a new one.
The idea that as a user I should know not to trust AUTO is INSANE.
I have had my system up for less than a week and am scared my ASUS MAXIMUS VIII HERO may have fried/damaged my CPU.
I started getting instability issues yesterday and have discovered the stock bios 1001 has been setting my AUTO voltage > 1.40 :(
I have been putting off tweaking anything...
I'm with this guy. Buy a 980ti if you are going to buy anything.
I went to a 980 G1 from my 690 and considered it a worthy upgrade. Sli-profiles get old fast.
Hybrid = watercooled. Max temp is 45-50C
I was going edit my stock BIOS to raise Max (mW) in power table to bump it up to 120 as a start. Good idea, yes, no?
I am a novice when it comes to using modified BIOS to get better OCing. I currently have a EVGA 980ti hybrid ASIC 76.6% that I have gotten pretty stable at 1501/7800 with just using Afterburner, but want to try and take it further...
Adding voltage in Afterburner isn't getting me any better...
Weird, I just received my hybrid over the weekend and don't have any water/pump noise at all. I even have the case open to listen for coilwine and not a peep. Maybe I just got lucky.
Also, when I boot my computer I didn't notice the BIOS being displayed. Is this normal with using a TV as a monitor, or is there something I can change to allow me to see the BIOS on bootup?
Yea, I am coming from a Dell 3007WFP-HC myself. On one hand it is a definitely upgrade in size and resolution, but I am not WOWed by it like I was when I got the Dell. At the time the 1600p resolution was so much better than what I was used to it was a definite WOW.
Part of me wants to return...
Got my 48" JU6700 today, at first I thought it was too big but after removing the stand I was able to put it to the end of my desk and reclaim like 8" of desk space.
I have 30 days to evaluate it so time will tell if it stays.
The swiftech stuff looks like what I am looking to do. In the future if I start from scratch, I'll probably do CPU/GPU all custom, but since I don't want to modify my setup too much, the all in one kit is ideal.
I am interested in watercooling just the Titan X, I'd like to leave my CPU as is.
I'd like to do a full EK-block but am stumped on what components to pair it with. Does a simple Rad/Pump/Fan combo exist for just GPU applications or should I piece everything together individually?
I want a very...
My Gigabyte 980 G1 with its cooler has spoiled me with it's quietness.
If this version of the Titan X has improved cooling and quietness, count me in. My case has no window so I don't care about looks.
From Geforce.com "...If thats you, you can buy TITAN X direct from NVIDIA today, and from our partners in the coming weeks."

If this is priced at $999 or close to it, I will bite. I held onto my GTX690 since launch, got rid of it for two 980s, but want a monster 1 card solution.
Selling one of my Gigabyte 980 G1's, I was going to use it in SLI but my case and motherboard setup aren't ideal. I had to install them next too each other.
The card was literally only used for about 20mins to run a couple benchmarks. It is basically brand new.

Will post pics soon...
