Yeah that way we can decide if we want the firmware or not. Sometimes a firmware update can remove or break features that we were previously enjoying.

So I tried enabling game mode, text became a little bit clearer. What I don't understand is UHD color still says its enabled in the tv's properties and Nvidia drivers still says RGB is enabled. I thought game mode prevented all those from working and would default it to 4:2:0

I thought game mode disables 4:4:4 or RGB so I have kept that mode off.Is it possible that even though Nvidia says I am in RGB that it is incorrect?

Titan X SLI I have game mode off. Only PC mode with UHD color enabled. I have RGB selected in Nvidia, I have tried 4:4:4 and 4:4:2 but the RGB setting seems to look the best but still letters look funky.

Would a 5960X at a typical overclock of 4.2ghz to 4.4ghz offer any increased gaming performance over a 4930K @ 4.5ghz. Rest of my system is in my signature. Or would it make more sense to go 4 core Skylake 6700K.

That is interesting that you got DSR enabled with the 4K tv. Maybe its because your connected up through HDMI and i'm Displayport

Not a Gysync monitor, I tried doing a clean install of the drivers. Still the messed up GPU scaling and DSR function is still missing. When I had my 2K monitor I had the option to DSR it to 5K.

I took steam offline, moved those files to my desktop, started up the game and all the graphics settings were default again. I guess they are stored on steam as well. Either way didn't seem to help the low gpu utilization.

Thats what I had did instead of naming it, game loads and it just replaced the files instantly with the same settings. Is it possible its stored on Steam?

Should I try increasing the vram more? I havent explored the upper limits of that yet. I just didn't know if it was worth it since the vram on the titan x tends to run fairly hot. I have a 200mm fan blowing on the side of the cards, 140mm blowing on the back, and a 140mm above them exhausting.
