    Tesla Unveils Radical Cybertruck.

I wish there was a way to actually have an acceleration sound. Superfluous in an EV of course but an optional safety app for pedestrians and animals. As long as the sound was able to sych with the acceleration. Could be a 2 cycle bike, V8 supercar, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or the Millennium...

    Tesla Unveils Radical Cybertruck.

If 250k are pre-ordered, I'm sure the aftermarket will go nuts overnight for parts to make it look better. I'd first look for mirrors and then rockets on the sides.

    Tesla Unveils Radical Cybertruck.

The word "truck" to me is synonymous with words like "Work", "Heavy Duty", "Tough" ,"Masculine". This Tesla Cybertruck looks like a bunch of stoner designers are trying to Virtue Signal in every way imaginable. The engines are electric. okay great. We dig it. The body? That is not "Masculine"...

Intel Plans to Launch Its Discrete GPU Lineup Starting at $200

And now Nvidia is adding 2 NVMe slots in raid to their cards... https://devblogs.nvidia.com/gpudirect-storage/ https://blocksandfiles.com/2019/08/06/nvidia-gpus-direct-access-to-nvme-storage/ "Using GPUDirect™, multiple GPUs, network adapters, solid-state drives (SSDs) and now NVMe drives can...

Intel Plans to Launch Its Discrete GPU Lineup Starting at $200

Exactly. It may be a trivial boost to gamers but as we've learned over the years, videocards are being used for more than games. Mining, imagine processing, large scale artificial intelligence, supercomputing, streaming and likely some things people will find a use for if they implement a...

Intel Plans to Launch Its Discrete GPU Lineup Starting at $200

That would definitely sell more cards. Initially it might be just hybrid, allowing the discrete card to work with the iGPU. After that, the 2-3 cards would be common on this forum. ;) Two things I hope to see besides a low price: 1. 4K at least 60 FPS most games. 2. Quick Sync 3. Two M.2...

Picard Will Lead "Radically Altered" Life in New Star Trek Series

Okay kid. Star Trek Discovery season 1 currently holds about a 52% audience rating on RT. Season 2 has tanked to the 36% audience approval.... So please enlighten this "convalescent" on how THE REST OF US makes that rating so abysmal. The new ST show sucks. My prediction is Season 1 of the new...

Picard Will Lead "Radically Altered" Life in New Star Trek Series

I love sci-fi. I love Wars more than Trek, but that's me.]I had STTOS action figures and the enterprise toys as a kid. That should tell you, I'm old. I do not care for anything past Enterprise. I've watched Discovery, there is nothing to it. NOTHING. The acting is so-so. The scripts suck. The...

The Raspberry Pi 4 is here

Seems like one thing driving RaspberryPi is the blind devotion fans have. There ARE other SBC. Ive got 2 Pis myself, but I also have 2 Tinkerboards and several Odroids which destroy my RPi3+ in total, i have around 30 boards. Favorite OS? Easily, Android, and Android on Pi is not worth it. Don't...

The Raspberry Pi 4 is here

If the do, id buy. How hard would it be for SBC makers to just add a couple SATA3 PORTS? EMMC they all use is expensive for the size and speed you get. SATA3 ssd would run circles around them and USB-C power could run them. Im willing to try with a USB3.1 drive though. Thanks for the info!

Anandtech: Intel to Support Hardware Ray Tracing Acceleration on Data Center Xe GPUs

I have high hopes. Intel has a huge reputation and deeper pockets than AMD and Nvidia combined. To think Xe consumer discrete graphics will perform on par with 5 year old cards is pessimistic at best. They picked up some of the best designers. Already have integrated graphics that perform well...

    Intel Xe / Odyssey

No, Not big card=high end=desirable. Heavy=high end=desirable! I see Intel using HMB2 or something faster. I also predict them adding a high end option for an Optane card add-on for memory in rendering like the AMD Pro SSG, that offers 2 PCIE card slots for an additional 1TB. If Intel can find...

Intel Shows Off Graphics Card Designs at GDC 2019

Intel Gen11 Reportedly Takes iGPU Performance to Another Level
