That's kinda where I'm at. I guess I'm conditioned by enough years of non-raiding WoW to be okay with lower end gear but still good enough to have an enjoyable experience. Anyhow, it's proven over and over again that GS isn't everything when you take into account all the other variables.

So random question, once you hit 30 do you have an opportunity to finish all the side missions, etc? I'm probably going to hit 30 tonight and due to some prolonged exploring, I'm way behind on the side missions, haven't touched strongholds, or finished the story missions.

I've been doing this too, same with the "hidden" air drops on the buildings/trees. I've managed to get a small pile of dyes from those, but for some reason the control points seem like they're only interested in giving me shotguns and SMGs over and over and over..... :grumpy:

Yeah, the thing I find more aggravating than anything is the crap the DZ drops give. Other than the HEs got get off the guard boss, it's probably going to be purples that you get. That alone is all the disincentive I need to bother. Then just knowing that I need to get to DZ 75 for the good...

This completely. I understand the nature of RNG but right now there's no incentive to bother hunting for drops. Everything is too low GS so crafting is still the way forward, but factor in the crafting mat requirements and it takes forever to get something even remotely considered an upgrade.

You can, you've just gotta make a storage character. Get them out of Brooklyn and to the BoO and then send them your gear for them to keep in their backpack. Or you know, just find some of us. I'm only 180-182 depending on loadout and haven't been shunned by any [H] 'ers yet.

Well, just ran through the DZ for the last hour to finish off my weekly and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if it's because it was early but I was able to run through, get my objective and extract a few times without any mystical gankings. So maybe some of what they've done has worked.

Take a laptop and make sure your destination had good wifi. :p

I'll be really interested in seeing how far this goes into cleaning things up in game. I'd soured on bothering with the DZ but was at least still enjoying PvE stuff. If I could do DZ with legitimate rogue battles, etc, I might actually consider going in again and spending some time in there.

Farm the living hell out of Lexington challenge mode. So if you see some of us online, I'm pretty sure we can get you in and blow through there in about 10-12 minutes a shot. You get 30 pxc just by completing it each time regardless of it being a daily and the boss drops a few as well.

I got one Nomad piece running the DZ with Frrak last week, that's it. Beyond that my drops have all been junk. The only non crafted are a few wep mods, and both my mags came out of Madison on hard. RNJesus clearly finds something I've done blasphemous and has forsaken me. :D

Yep that thing was junk as are most of the hard mode drops at this point. I don't even have any of the set pieces and I've struggled to find anything that remotely looks like an upgrade. Everything is just deconstructed into mats.

Yeah, it shreds things pretty handily and having the bigger mag than the vector makes a huge difference. At least on my setup, I went from 161k to 203k just by replacing my vector and swapping over the same mods. And the thing is so stable, you can really let it fly from a marginal range...

So with jmaker's help, I chain ran Lexington and got the AUG, it's chews through things like crazy. Really worth it if you missed the blueprints earlier and want a 204 weapon.

It's a 204 AUG, brutal, vicious, and meticulous. Upper end damage roll.

Yeah, a good group can flatten Lexington in no time flat. The runs I was in on were going at about 15 per too. And the mats, so much good stuff to deconstruct.

Well, about 6 runs of Lexington later, I'm about 160 pxc from that AUG. If anyone sees me on and wants to plow through it a few times, just hit me up.

I had a hell of a time the other night, we need to do more of those [H] wrecking crews. I'm just glad when the wifi at my hotel heels of as well as it did. Toward the end mobs were popping around like a slide show. I need to do some heavy duty challenge farming, I want that 204 AUG.

Well guys, be careful if you try and do anything tonight. Apparently since Ubi announced they're fixing the APC damage glitch, everyone is farming the shit out of it. jmaker, ghostwich, and I all tried to do the 2 hard dalies and about halfway through Consulate everything just lagged to hell...

I could be down for some DZ tonight as long as the lag at my hotel isn't too bad. I'm mat constrained too, so some bulk extraction soul work for me.

Not that it's relevant to the incursion or anything, but if anyone wants the appearance stuff from the having Rainbow Six Siege, you can get it if you install the free weekend preview. It counts to unlocking it.

So, got in the two dailies before the downtime, then the two afterwards. Gearscore up to 164, got 2 so-so pieces that I could use and two useless mods for deconstruct.

Well, no surprises here, my gear score is a comically low 152. Guess I'll be farming the crap out of hard and challenge modes to get that up to a respectable level.

Ugh, I need to get into some CMs with you guys. I tried 3 times yesterday and all 3 times it just devolved into a mass of overwhelming stupid. 2 times I ended up in a group with a foreigner who wouldn't proceed into the session, 1 of those times the leader couldn't figure out how to kick them...

So for those that way higher geared that me, what kind of gear should you expect to be in to start challenge modes? Right now I can ROFLSTOMP hard mode 30s without any trouble, I'm at around 103/60/?? (not really paying attention to the electronics stats, all superior except for Midas and HE...

Got to 30 in the DZ, and looks like all the random drops I got are as good or better than what's on offer. Guess it's time to work that grind to 50 so I can snag the good stuff.

Got another 3 DZ levels knocked out since last night, up to 21. Goal for the weekend is to try and get up to 30. If anyone sees me on and wants to do some hard modes, just hit me up, I'm all for some mass slaughter. :D Still gotta get that gear up for challenge modes though, I feel really...

I had something similar happen too. I was just randomly cruising the DZ and all the sudden some yellow rioter mobs just spawned right in front of me. Thankfully they took a second to respond, so I had an opportunity to duck and cover. Got a named mob out of it though and a few purple upgrades.

I'm slowly but surely working my way up to rank 30 in the DZ. As of this morning I was at 18 and getting some so-so superior drops. I'm purple across the board, just not all level 30 equipment yet.

I'd be down for this, might make it easier to coordinate group runs without just dropping into each other's games out of the blue. I know there's a few of us who aren't quite to endgame yet that might have more fun running at the same level and not seem like we're being carried. :)
