I tried to use one as a hockey puck for my son's practice since the coach was late. It didn't work after. I guess it's not as versatile or as durable as WD claims
Yeah, I used to say that about my beanie babies collection too.
It does not matter how you pose them, what weapons you put in their stance, they are still dolls.
Humm,
Is MS like Star Trek movies????
Every other one is good.
XP good
Vista was a virus
win7 good
Win 8 is the bastard step child that even a mother could not love
Win 10 could be good (according to a few)
Oh yes, call MS. Well, at least I have never had any issues doing this with my 4 retail copies I have. Oddly enough, I usually seem to have one that's always not in use. I have this one laptop I have not turned on in 9 months since I got my Galaxy tablet
I ended up going a route like this.
I got an "open box" deal on a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H from Ebay. $110 shipped, so it works for me.
I bench tested it yesterday and all looks good so far. The "coolest" thing (from a bench test stand point) as that it had it's own power button on the MB...
I normally reinstall Win 7 from scratch when I swap to a new mb.
If I take this Core2Duo p965 chipset setup I have now and swap the memory, CPU and MB, can I even boot?
I can install new drivers and all that. I just want this one program to do what I need for a bit.
I have one...
I need a mb for an Intel I5 1155 socket processor.
I want something reliable, but want to keep it around $100
OC is not really a priority as it's a non K processor. I guess I could play with the fsb a little, but I probably won't go bonkers.
I do need one PCI slot as well as a 16x...
Yes, I know, but the poster I answered was wondering why not mess with the whole checkout process instead of paying. His point was that Apple is going after the wrong problem. However, Apple is going after what they believe will make them money with their Iphones.
Yep, RFID tags.
RFID tags can be well hidden or hard to get to, yet still be read by the reader. Swapping out a tag is really difficult at best. Each tag is unique and programmed into the scanners database.
Faulty tags can happen, but what you do is "scan in" your product with a tag...
I'm just trying to optimize where to place the two boxes. The signal is going through some walls, but on the same floor.
I have two Engenius ECB300s set up as an AP and client bridge. The Engenius software just shows a something called "signal quality" that goes from 1-100. Right now it...
Thanks,
I think I will pick it up Crysis Max and see how I like it.
I played Far Cry and like it. I barfed playing Far Cry 2.
I'll pick up Crysis 2 if I like the first.
I keep reading horror stories about the Securom DRM.
I like my system kept as clean as possible.
Is the hysteria overblown or should I just pass on EA games. I looked on Steam and it still says there is 3rd party securom on it.
Thanks,
Was it a decent player? I do want one that has the full surround sound. I don't have a/v rec hooked up to my pc because I like big volume knobs
So my dvd just died.
So, I was going to get a blu Ray to watch movies also. There's no free bluray player software I have seen that can do movies.
So, is it better to get the retail package with the player?
Or, get the OEM and get a good software player as another purchase??
I...
My amp never blew, but I blew my front sats oddly enough.
I have the other sats as my rear speakers and they work great. I replace the fronts with my fav Klipsch, went to an AV reciever, and a 12 sub. My wife can FEEL me watching a movie now.:D
Anyone want my amp and sub for $5 plus...
In retrospec as I'm playing around with SS3 again, I do find it easier than SS1. There's less, "oh crap, out of that ammo" times for me.
I have spent a lot of time using the assault rifle (zoomed as needed) for much of it this time.
After even more reading, it's looking like the Amd 7770 might be a better choice.
Are the AMD/ATI drivers up to snuff still? I see mixed reports. I've had a few problems.
I game some, but not a huge amount recently.
Once in a while, StarCraft 2, Serious Sam 3 slow a bit and it's annoying .
I didn't want to spend much. maybe $170 or so.
I have a Core2Duo at 3.4 ghz on a Gigabyte MB
That did work, but you had to go looking for them half the time if you wanted to kill them all. Sometimes they looked like roof or wall decorations from a distance.
I sure have.
It was not pretty. I had to use a lot of the unlimited ammo boxes with rockets and c4. I blew myself up more than once with the c4. I also think I spent more time running backwards than forward. I think I did it in double the estimated time:eek:
I ran mine on "serious." The "mental" is just annoying IMHO. The whole flashing in and out of invisibility wasn't for me. I was hoping they dumped that and made that difficulty with 50% more baddies and the same ammo.
I loved the game and I'm going to play it again on the "serious" level...
In the "mental" difficulty, there does not appear to be anymore enemies that I can tell. The enemies turn invisible, then visible every 1/2 second or so.
I find this rather annoying. If I wanted to play with The Force, I'd play a Star Wars game.
I just play on "serious" difficulty...
I too used the back up into a corridor trick. It worked well.
There was one part that was open like in SS the first encounter right before the final boss where you had to cross a big open area. In SS3, there was one of those and swarm of bulls came after you. However, they were to big to...
OK, I have not totally finished the game BUT...........
Did it seem easier than SS the first encounter or SS the 2nd encounter?
I remember times in the 2nd that I had so many Kleers coming at me in a mid evil type wall setting I nearly blew through all my ammo.
There sure have been some...
OMG,
I'm sure this guy violated tons of things on the T&C agreement that is hidden somewhere that a normal person would never see.
They have his name and where he works. Microsoft will be after him for sure. We'll have to keep and eye out and post his mug shot.
