Ah I see what your point is, well it's good to know I have more options to consider. Gotto make up my mind and order one to take advantage of the $25 VCO from BestBuy I guess :D
That's a very old drive, does Intel still make it? lol
I thought the PRO version uses a better NAND than the EVO version and therefore will last longer? The difference between the 2 is about $50 (I'm looking to get the 500GB version) so I think it's worth it for the extra warranty and longevity.
Yes looks like that would be my best option for now. I don't expect a lot, just a decent boost compare to my current performance is what I'm hoping for.
Oh and I think I might keep the optical drive, I don't really use my laptop a lot and I use my desktop for storage. Thanks for the suggestion...
Is the Samsung 850 Pro still a good choice? I've been using OCZ, Crucial, and Samsung and they have not failed yet, maybe I'm just lucky. Since I'll do the SSD upgrade might as well adding more RAM, 8GB is the max my MacBook Pro can support anyway.
Awesome, thank you for the link.
I did a...
I've been using my work laptop for a while and barely use my aging MacBook Pro (2.4Ghz Core i5) but now since I have some time off I want to upgrade from the slow HDD to a faster SSD. Hopefully you can help me out with a couple following questions?
- I did some research and found out the...
Got this as a replacement and somehow they didn't send me the right color and plus I wanna get something new so I'm letting it go. It's still brand new never used, I just opened the box to take out the SIM.
I already paid it off and I believe you can call T-Mobile to fully unlock it after using...
If you have one in good/great condition please let me know. Box and accessories are optional but it would be great if you have them. I can make payment using Paypal, heat is under iTravis.
Also I need it to be unlocked so I can use overseas.
Impressive numbers you got there, and thank you very much, this is just what I need :D I guess I'll be fine with my 2600k @ 4.5Ghz and game at 2560x1600 at least. I'm usually all about the numbers but I haven't kept up with the whole upgrading thing for a while. Now I just gotto figure it out...
I got this drive on newegg a couple weeks ago on the egg for $125 and I can confirm Seagate makes it. It's smaller than I thought and I think it's well worth the price, considering when it comes with a 3-year warranty. I would bite again if I need extra storage.
I just ordered the Aeron chair on Amazon for $764 since Herman Miller is having its semi-annual sale for 15% off until June 9th, plus you can get another 5% Cashback if using Discover card. I've been looking at this chair for a while now and it's finally time to pull a trigger. :) Maybe you...
I don't mind spending $500 on a chair, in fact I already set that amount of money when thinking of getting another chair to replace my current crappy one. But as you probably know, I just want more inputs before spending that much money on a chair, the more ideas the better so I can get to...
I'm in the market for a new chair and I've heard great things about the Aeron as I know some of you are absolutely in love with it. My question is that is it really worth it to buy it brand new or get it used/refurbished to save a few hundreds? I've seen some listings on my local CL selling for...
My downstream is limited to 25Mbps by Cox so I don't think it will make any difference anyway. So I just grabbed the SB6121 and since my local store doesn't have the N600 I just went with the TP-Link Ac1750.
What do you guys think about this desk as I'm thinking of getting it:

I need a L-shape that can accommodate my 3x30" Dell so other recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, I think I'm gonna go with the Motorola SurfBoard 6141 for the modem. As for the router, a bit more research shows great reviews on the Mikrotik RB951G-2HnD but can I get this router at a local store, looks to me they only sell it online. I need to grab something...
I'll be moving into a new apartment and have Cox as ISP so I need you guys' advice for a cable modem/router. I heard the all-in-one is usually not recommended so I think I might get them separately.
My setup will be 4 hardwired devices (2 PCs, 2 consoles), I also have a laptop and a couple...
