    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

    Where can I buy OLED 32" 4k 165 Hz?
  2. R

So, Where are the 5K monitors?

I use 32/4k/200% at work and there is no going back. ppi all the way. At home I use 32/1440/150% at 165 Hz and it is OK too. Next I want 32/4K/165Hz, I do not have space for bigger monitor. My TV is 49/4K.

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

I use 32/4K/60/200% scaling at work. It is much better than 27/1080/60/100%. I am OK with my 32/1440/165/150% at home where I play FPS/RaceSims a lot. But I will change it to 32/4K/165/200% very soon.

4k display and already regretting it

At work I went from 27" 1080p to 27" 4k at 200% IPS to 31.5" 4k 200% VA in short time. I hope to never go back to 27" 1080p. When I go to fix other PCs I immediately notice the pixels, it is gross. All my apps work well under windows 10, 1 or 2 are not perfect but still better than before. IPS...

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

No problem with backlight here. Just don't play pool/snooker games. The red balls on green table really showcase the ghosting effect. Although i do not mind them now. In all other games I don't see it (I do not look for it either). I also know nothing about any vertical lines and hope to stay...

166Hz Has Ruined 60 fps Forever

At work I use 4k 27" 200% scaling - now 27" 1080p is so grainy it gives me headache. But 4k in Windows 10 is so choppy. At home I use 32" 1440p 165 Hz - it is blissfully smooth, desktop and games. We could have both in the same display, right?

Has anyone experienced display disconnects from time to time on DP connection? Windows 10 onboard graphics i7-6700K, GB Z170 motherboard? Windows sounds like losing and finding a new device but no notification.

Ryzen 2200G vs i5-4590S graphics for desktop 4K?

2200G had a ton of issues on the HDMI port with whatever driver I tried (no DP port). I had to put first GT 1030 with DP and HDMI ports. Worked fine on both ports with the same cables but still a bit choppy. Then I changed to GTX 1050Ti which was better but I did not like the reserved 2GB I...

Target for 4k or stick to 1440p?

4K is something else at 200% scaling in windows and apps, 27". I guess 32" too. No more grainy crap. But I have not tried in games so I do not know how it will be with 1080p (exact scaling) or 1440p scaling if needed for smooth play (i have this display at work).

    Acer X27 4k 144hz HDR Gsync

I have probably bought over 30 displays from 15" to 27" in the last 15 years for the company I work for. And they were 99% the cheapest available, for general office use. Apart from one monitor developing 2 horizontal lines of dead pixels there were no other dead/stuck pixel problems. Other...

    2K or 4K Monitor. Is 27" to small for 4K ?

I use 27" 4K at work at 200%, exact scaling I guess, no gaming of course, gives me the same font size as 27" FHD, my previous display (not so young anymore). What a difference!. I wish I never look at anything below 4k again. When software scales well it is a joy to use. The graininess of FHD...

Ryzen 2200G vs i5-4590S graphics for desktop 4K?

I will have to install OS and so on. Which I will do eventually. But I wanted to know before hand whether I should keep it for myself or hand it to one of the employees to replace an old system..

What was your justification for RTX 2080 ti?

Got a 1440p 165Hz monitor and had to replace my 1080 with a 2080Ti to get as much FPS as possible. Also had some Christmas bonus and the urge to upgrade. Disposable income and no better hobby.

Ryzen 2200G vs i5-4590S graphics for desktop 4K?

I have an HP desktop with i5-4590S integrated graphics 4600 at my work place. I recently got a 27" 4k display to replace my 27" 1080p old one. The new monitor seems somewhat laggy in desktop use although it is running at 60 Hz. I also have a new HP Ryzen 2200G PC. I am wondering if it is worth...

ASUS VG279Q - 144hz, 1080p IPS. Late to the paty?

ASUS VG279Q - 144hz, 1080p IPS. Late to the paty?

Just some experience I had lately: At work I used 27" 1080p for about 4 years. At 100% scaling the size was OK (maybe a tad small, I hardly have 20/20 vision although no glasses). There was some graininess but I was used to it. Recently changed to 27" 4k. Of course I use it with 200% scaling to...

    PWM vs ULMB

How come everyone hated PWM and demanded NON-PWM monitors because flicker was bad for eyes and now everyone wants and demands ULMB? Are they different as far as eyes are concerned?

Do YOU have Problems with YOUR RTX card?

I have probably changed about a dozen video cards in my life and never had a problem with any of them. My last one was GB GTX 1080 Gaming which I used for about 2,5 years. Sold it when I got GB GeForce RTX™ 2080 Ti GAMING OC 11G. Bad move because the 2080 Ti went bad after 2 weeks of use. And...

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

Had my GB 2080T away for repair and was using Intel in-bed graphics. One way to expose ghosting on this monitor is snooker/pool game - red balls on green table , massive (virtual pool 4, WSC2009). G-sync makes it virtually unnoticeable (165 Hz/faster). You really have to look for it and it is...

The perfect 4K 43” monitor! Soon! Asus XG438Q ROG

I had Eizo EV2736 for 6 years and forgot all about IPS glow after the first several weeks. You get used to whatever TV/monitor you use barring some glaring faults that prevent you from doing so. I had to recheck this IPS glow when searching for an upgrade about a month ago. The Eizo was a good...

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

I guess you can't say you had a proper purchase unless you have exchanged at least 3 times. And at the end most are getting returned unit at least once. You guys are doing it for fun. I have not bought a monitor before checking it personally. Probably paid + 3 to 5% more sometimes. And in my...

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

The stand-by power usage of this monitor is stated as 0.3 W, no LED on the back (link). But how long after PC shut down does it come in to effect? I measured about 15 W. After power off it really goes below 1 W. And there are some settings in the OSD - deep sleep and automatic standby. What do...

I am in the hunt for a 24" 16:10 for home use, games, internet. I used my SM215TW for 6 years and it is still very good but want to upgrade size with no loss of color quality and game play. U2412M, ZR2440W, PA248Q, EV2436, S24A850DW which one is the winner?

ASUS PB278Q 1440p IPS (PLS Panel)

How close are you sitting? Is the glow a problem if sitting like 40 cm from the screen? Is the PWM a problem? I have a SM215TW which I like and pass the lagom black level test with no problem but I want an upgrade - either 24" 1920x1200 or 27" 2560x1440.

But why does it have such a big stand. I need a separate desk just for the monitor. Impossible.

Why are the black levels of IPS displays so bad?

I have a SM215TW, 6 years and counting, lagom black test is walk in the park.I am pretty happy with it, I think it is S-PVA, I play FPS games too. I do not know if it has PWM ( I do not feel anyting) but since it is not LED may be it is not such a problem. I want to replace it for bigger...
