Think you are seeing people praise the USG and AMplifi product lines.
I have a full setup of USG 3 port router, POE switch, and access points. All this is managed by a cloudkey (Unifi controller) which works great. I bought all this due to convenience of single point of management.
Both. I was using a internal tool on a NAS and it broke. So i switched to viceversa for small and large file transfer.
viceversa was my go to when a user would open a ticket and say they had missing files. Typically it was due permissions. It allows incremental and full syncs.
1. No progress bar in robocopy. While you can add one to powershell, it wouldn't be very much value.
2. This is robocopy. You either let it run or abort and start over at the beginning. It'll rescan all files until it find a file that has been modified since last sync or hasn't synced to...
You can use powershell and do a get-content command. Robocopy against a folder further down the tree. This takes some knowledge of powershell/robocopy though.
Below is snipplet of powershell script i used to migrate 10k folder in a single directory. It would choke if i did root folder against...
Caution with robocopy if you have millions of files. It'll try and index all files/folders before starting to sync and if you don't have enough memory, you're in trouble.
I can vouche for rsync working on large files. I just migrated to a new NAS at home and moved 7TB with it small and large...
If you haven't already. Check out Chapter 3 for initial setup of management IP, username/passwords.
I'd connect the the S60 to netgear for now. Configure...
Did you configure the IP/DNS name to forward traffic on these ports to the windows PC?
Also is the service using these ports running on the PC?
Can you provide screenshots of the router configurations? You can black out IP/personal info.
You can go with VLAN 1. Any switch you plug into the future will have all ports on VLAN 1. why it not recommended. We need to resolve the slowness part.
Sounds like you have a loop. Recommend enabled loop protection on all three 10G switches. See attached from manual.
Once enabled see if any...
According to user guide for trendnet’s teg-7080es trunking is to combine ports on these switches. Wouldn't be of any value for you with vlans. trendnets trunking = LACP/ether-channel on other switches, which is combing ports for redundancy/throughput.
I havent used these switches before.
You need to setup TAGGED ports on ports used between the three switches for vlan 1 and 30. This should allow the devices in these vlans on seperate switches to communicate with each other.
SW1 - I'd TAG VLAN 1 and 30 on ports 2 and 3.
SW2 - TAG VLAN 1 and 30 on ports 1 and 2.
SW3 - TAG VLAN 1...
I use UBNT cloud key to manage my router, switch, and access point. Dedicated POE device that run the controller software and allows remote access to management interfaces. Had similar challenges adopting the AP as you. It all connected now to cloud key and working as expected once i found cli...
Corrected those and noticed that there is extra " in the formatting. Removed that and it works.
Thanks for help!
Json body that works is below
Looking to see if someone who has more experience with JSON format can take a look at the below and see if they see why i keep getting syntax errors. Everytime i fix one error another pops up. I'm following example from attached document on page 74. Also using Postman as my API tool...
1 - Any issue with letting Home Lan access Swansea ICT LAN and vice versa? Using a Rule? Or shoud use VPN? Main reason to do this, is because I dont want to add another server to the home network for file sharing, media, backups, etc... Basically a SOHO setup ;-)
If you must, I'd setup firewall...
For vmware cluster with mixed, you can set EVC mode to the oldest generation processor you have and it'll work.
Below is link to verify CPU to EVC mode compatibility. Quick search of CPUs shows you'd want to select Sandy Bridge.
