    Rumor: 3080 31% faster than 2080 Ti

Agreed, it definitely makes much sense now for Nvidia to use Super to avoid creating more confusion in a market that at times can be really confusing.

    Rumor: 3080 31% faster than 2080 Ti

Or the so called 3090 is really just the 3080Ti and Nvidia just decide to drop the whole Ti moniker. While I do not doubt RDNA 2 will be a good product, it is remain to be seen whether they can retake the performance crown as it been more than half a decade AMD competed in that space. We will...

PSA: Corsair Issues Recall for Recent SFX Power Supplies

I can tell you the replacement parts I got came from Amsterdam, that is why Corsair tell you to keep the power cord. Funny enough, your experience is similar to my experience Corsair when I had to RMA two SF PSU. The PSU is still gonna work regardless of region as it has active PFC, so the...

Mixer shutting down, partnering with Facebook Gaming

I imagine Ninja and other popular streamer who gone to Mixer will have their remaining contract paid just to keep off any potential lawsuits.

    Geforce 1660 Super overheating

Technically it is safe to run at that temperate, at worse your GPU will start thermal throttling to downclock to something more manageable. May I ask why you don't choose to transfer the component yourself?

Newbie graphics card question GTX 1070

From GamerNexus testing AutoCAD, a GTX 1080Ti performs exactly the same as a Quadro P6000, both have the same CUDA core counts, so it is not much of an issue anymore.

Newbie graphics card question GTX 1070

If that is the case, a laptop with 2070 Super non max q or 2080 non max q will help a lot in any GPU rendering. Though it is only available for Intel laptops for the time being, I haven't seen any laptop paired with a AMD CPU yet. I have not seen any laptops available with a 2080 Super non max q...

Newbie graphics card question GTX 1070

I think it will help if you gives us a budget, but if it is for productivity, a laptop Ryzen 4800H will helped a lot as you get 8 cores 16 threads and pair it with a AMD 5500M or Nvidia 1660Ti or RTX 2060, you will have a decent gaming laptop. You will probably spend around $1,100 to $1,200.

Intel 10nm/7nm CPU/GPU Rumor Thread : Cannonlake, Icelake, Tigerlake, Sapphire Rapids, etc.

That is actually decent showing for Intel, definitely much better than Iris Plus. I believe Xe puts Intel on par with AMD Vega APUs until AMD decides to move away from Vega and to Navi.

(Rumor) AMD to delay Ryzen 4000 (Zen3) until January 2021 due to Zen2 success

Not surprise by the decision as we have the XT release for the 3000 series. If Intel isn't competing, no need to rush it.

AMD Reportedly Launching B550 Motherboards Come June 16th

Seems like a joke for AMD and motherboard partners to release B550 almost a year after the release of the 3000 series, hopefully less of a wait for the B650. Build a Ryzen 3600 using Gigabyte B450i mobo, while the BIOS version I had did support the 3600, still need to do a BIOS update to fixed...

DRAM is stuck in a 10nm trap

The answer is always "Yes", this is [H] after all. But to answer seriously, increase density should in theory bring down pricing of ram, so while average consumer may not need more ram, it may benefit it from a pricing standpoint sans price collusion or higher initial production cost.

High temperatures on Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti waterforce

Looking at EK website, it looks like they are discontinuing their Phoenix AIO and just selling the remaining stock with only the 240 radiator core available. I say your suggestion using the NZXT bracket with an EVGA 120mm AIO is probably the best bet.

High temperatures on Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti waterforce

Personally, I would go for the Accelero Xtreme III to replace your possible broken AIO as it cools pretty well and is pretty quiet if noise is a concern for you, though you may have clearance issue as the cooler is 288mm in length and 55mm in height.

High temperatures on Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti waterforce

I agree with Razor, you probably have to deal with Gigabyte if you want to get a replacement. The other option you can do if the product is out of warranty is to replace the cooler yourself using NZXT G12 GPU mount and a 120mm AIO cooler or use Raijintek Morpheus II or Accelero Xtreme III if you...

Security Implications of AMD’s Cache Way Predictors - funding by Intel

Take your tin foil hat off, you realize there are a lot of big companies out there that funds researchers at the University level, I would have more issues if it wasn't properly disclose where their funding source. If you read the paper itself, the exploit isn't even serious and they have notify...
