They're keeping the blue plastic, and looks like white instead of blue for the banner, which goes with the console color.
I like it, I wonder what MS's will be?
That's the one.
I haven't watched it for quite a while, but I do remember a group living in a castle and they live medieval style, and the other group was in a bunker/warehouse and very Mad Max inspired.
Anyway, in this game, both factions are cults, one just identifies as a cult, the other is...
I'm playing as Abby, and she I saved it right there and quit for work.
The seraphytes and Wolves kind of reminded me of the movie "Doomsday." Just a little though.
In that movies, two warring factions live in similar conditions. One lives in a castle and lives "old world style;" the other...
The review discussion is getting beat to death, so, I'm going to start uploading screenshots here: https://twitter.com/scojer13 and here: https://hardforum.com/threads/the-screenshot-thread.1963797/
So far I have 4 up, I'll put more up later, or maybe tomorrow. I've taken a ton, these are on a...
then I had to come to work.
You're farther than I am, but you're right, this game is long and definitely has a lot of areas that keep it interesting, and it feels like quite a journey. I'm eager to keep going, stupid adult life.
At my school, we kept installing The Descent and Unreal Tournament. Our IT guy couldn't stop us, we kept doing it. He never figured out how to block us from installing them, so he would uninstall them daily, so I don't think he was that great of an IT guy.
We kept doing it from 2002-2006.
After playing UC4 then practically straight to this, there is a noticeable difference between motion blur 0 on that vs this.
If you have UC4 or TLL, turn The motion blur off.
Now do it on TLoU2.
It's subtle at 0 on TLoU2
It's off on UC4.
The upcoming Marvel's Avengers game due for release in September will have a "free upgrade" to the PS5 version, if you get a PS5.
I'm hoping more games will allow that, such as The Last of Us 2.
Here's a bite more detail:
I'm still going to buy the game when it comes out, I liked the first enough to buy the second.
I have a 5.1, but, still prefer using headphones for horror games. It's good to know that it works great with surround sound as well!
With the PS5's 3D Audio, maybe more games will take advantage of better sound moving forward.
So you gave it a 7.75/10
That was a good write-up, though now...
I let myself get killed, to see the death animations, they're neat to watch, just like the first game.
I also turned the film blur down, but I wish that the film grain could be disabled, it can in photo mode, but not in the actual game. It looks soooo much better without it, or with it turned...
When I played the other day, I shot a human in the face with a revolver, and after I cleared the area, I examined the body. Her lower jaw was missing, her face was a bloody mess with just the upper row of teeth visible.
when I play next, I'll try to re-create it and take a screenshot.
I only got to play about 6 hours, then my wife had car troubles. We decided to finally buy a new car rather than pay to get it fixed. (It's worth less than $1k.)
So that's what I did all day yesterday, rather than play.
So far, the only thing I don't like is the story jumping between the two groups so much at the beginning. I wouldn't mind it if the scene changes were done better, they're just a bit jarring.
The music score though is fantastic and definitely sets the emotional tone of the game really well.
I didn't listen to the whole video at first, but listened to a bit more of it, and he did say that, that only the "positive reviewers" got codes to review the game, and they pretty much positively review any game for clicks, and if you're someone who usually negatively reviews games, they likely...
